this is a pretty telling demonstration to the strength of these boxes.

The photo is from their web site, I have no idea if it is shopped but the drawer is rated to 600 LBS and I put about 70 lbs of stuff in it and then stood in it to "show off" to one of my employees. The drawer felt as solid as the floor underneath it and I weigh 220.

I will heat gun off that ugly logo on the lower drawer, and see if I can find some Harbor Freight logos to put on it:bounce:

The logo looks fine. Mac uses a big logo on their bottom drawer. I doubt the image is photoshop. It would be foolish for them to do because you know the buyers will be showing off this move for their friends. The company knows this. With Snap-On they play it sale by parking a truck on four boxes. The lilelyhood of someone else doing that is very remote.

OK, here is the box I am working on for my 2 year old. Started as me stashing away stuff for him about a year ago. Tools that had no resale value and solid quality and as little China junk as possible. Basicaly I was just giving the stuff like "popular mechanics" channellock and Stanley away for shipping cost. So began his tool set. I also needed an excuse to grab great deals at the flea market:beer: A good deal came up on this Cornwell recently (waiting on 2 new drawer slides) so he has alreay upgraded from his little Kennedy Box. As I buy and sell, now my policy is if he does not already have one, it goes in his box rather than re-sold unless it is a high value item. I think he is doing ok! We have pretty much gotten rid of the low end stuff and most all of his sockets and wrenches are Craftsman. He has about 3 more drawers to fill so he should be pretty well set. This set also serves double duty as the house box, as mine is all the way out in the shop. I think he will get the key for it in about 10 years.

Would you consider adoption?! :bounce:

white floor is awesome. more reflective, dropped things don't disappear, easy to see leaks. thumbs up all around....

We have an off-white tiled floor at work. I hate it. It's almost always slippery (Just after cleaning it being the exception) it looks dirty almost all the time, etc. I liked the dark concrete floor at where i used to work. Never looked dirty, rarely got slippery and we washed it with petrol, was done in minutes.

I have the same cart.

As each one of sons reached about 9 years old (and one of my daughters I gave them a toolbox filled with tools (like a Craftsman top and bottom) that was overflow from my excess tool buying. They knew to stay out of my boxes and if they lost theirs they were on their own. They all still have the toolboxes I gave them (youngest is 33) and look forward to each year to see what else is going it them courtesy of dear old dad. They will be floored this year. I nailed some really good buys this year

Yes, it seems like one of those win..win situations for me and the kid. I am looking forward to when he can do some tool shopping and work with me. Funny how many good quality tools have no re-sale value, and one can fill a toolbox with good working tools for next to nothing. I mean think about it, if I had to sell that stuff in that box I may get $150 (less the snap-on screwdrivers). Good lesson in how we get caught up in fancy names, when we know Husky, Craftsman and Duralast tools will do the job just as well as the Snap-On stuff 98% of the time.

That looks like it would have been "fun" to get those boxes in like that. :lol_hitti

any plans to do a bench top on them and trim them out to fit?

Oh that wasnt bad. The fun part was unloading both boxes from the bed of my lifted truck by myself...

I want to do a butcher block top, just trying to source one now

Does that Master Series powerbank have the power outlets inside like on the Epiq's? I see a charger in the pic but can't see any outlets.
