Very neat idea to have remote locking. But what happens if the battery goes dead? Do you have a key just in case?

I did place the battery under the snapon box (because it have a 80 millimeter high socket under it) so if the battery dies I can charge it from without opening the box. Plus that i have the old lock left on so I can use the keys if I want.
I did place a breaker from the battery to the remote so I can shut it of over the weekends.

Your post comes at a very opportune time, as Im currently looking a various roll cab options, one of which is Teng.

So can I just ask, is yours the TCW809N ?

Yes it´s a TCW809N. And I love the build quality, it´s well planned, very steady and works perfectly. If I compere to the snapon box on the side, it´s the same or even better quality. At least the roll bearings and the "anti open when its unlocked system" are much better

It´s actually a magnet, so when I use the torque screwdriver I place the magnet on the outside of the toolbox just for remembering it

This is my new toolbox, it´s a swedish made toolbox from tengtools with a SnapOn KRA4820D added on the side.

There are some cool tools like the fluke 233 with removable display, the PB swiss digital torque screwdriver and 2 bacho torque wrenches.

guess ill join the crowd... im off work today figured i would just go take a bunch of pics of my at-home toolbox and contents..... i got probably three times more at work, of course... but anyway, i don't do too much with this stuff usually i am sick of it after i get home from work so thats why this stuff doesn't look very used. oh, and the IR hammerhead in the box... I was having some concerns about the way they sound after getting my first one several weeks ago but have since fallen in love with them and I ended up buying another 3/8 for home and a 1/2 sittin in my box at work. they are awesome!!!

I was just going to ask about them. I've got a Bolt Size-It gauge that's been awesome but I could always use another method to double check. Who makes them?

I'm getting ready to do the same thing, am looking to buy the blue Williams boxes. Just gotta figure out the best way to lay the boxes out to organize my stuff, most of which are mismatched, buying whatever is on sale or what I need at the time. I'll have to look closer at yours to see if I can theive an idea or 3. I like.

I’m a newbie here. Great site and awesome thread with a wide range of boxes. I like the big new boxes some have but, also like to old ones as well. The best part is the drawer shots with all the different tools.

I’m a DIY’er and here are some of my pictures. I’m replacing the C-Man with the US General bottom and either the top chest or two sides.

The next are Meridain (Herman Miller) file cabinets.

This is my cart. It's a US General and not a Snap-On. I painted the SO logo on to mess with one of my buddies.

This is not a tool box but, the rack holds the boxes that my power tools are in.

I will show off my latest project Ive been doing off and on for the last few weeks. I don't have a ton of tools, But I think you guys will still find it interesting.

I took all my most used tools & complete sets and shadow boxed them in firm foam mats. It takes up a ton of room, but so far I like it ALOT. It's nice knowing right where everything is and what is missing in a split second.

Top drawer: My spray guns.

Row 1: 3/8" drive tools.

Row 2: LEFT: Northern Metric wrenches (5mm-21mm) & JH Williams stubby wrenches RIGHT: 1/4" drive tools.

Row 3: LEFT: Northern SAE Wrenches (1/4" - 1") & JH Williams stubby wrenches RIGHT: craftsman 18pc polished wrench set (non professionals)

Row 4: LEFT: Screwdrivers and nut drivers RIGHT: GM Goodwrench 14pc ratcheting wrench set.

Ive still got to finish my 1/2" drive drawer, 1/2" impact drawer and my air tools drawer.
I will prob remove my spray guns and put them back in their case, I just could not resist putting them in the box .

I got it at Harbor Freight about ten years ago. It's proven to be a very durable cart so far. I use it for both mechanical and carpentry work and any other use I can find.

What did you use to cut out the foam? What type of foam? How many years did it take to get it to look so nice? Lots of time and attention - looks great but not sure I'd have the patience, time, or skill to make it look that good!

It was not that bad to do, Quite fun actually.

I used foam puzzle mats from Lowe's and cut them to size, (16"x22.25" for the big drawers, 16"x12.25" for the small drawers.)
Then I covered the backside of the cut mats in masking paper (AKA Sticky Micky's).

Then I simply traced my tools on the paper and cut them out with an X-acto knife using MANY blades. I cut the tools about 1/16" smaller so the tools fit snug.

Total was around $50 and maybe 8 hours of time.
