lukiep, is that the 722 or 7022 bottom?
Looks like you went on a binge at harbor freight. Very cost effective for the at home guy.
i work at harbor freight...
and actually im taking all of that and using it to become an Auto Tech.. the only thing im really upgrading are my ratchets, and combo wrenches..
the Ratchets will either be Blue Point or Matco 88's
Combo Wrenches will be raised Panel Craftsman...
Cant beat that then, must have been dirt cheap with an employee discount.
I recomend the matco 88's. Some say 88's are over kill but I liked them better than any mac or snap on ratchets. So I had to go buy 4 or 5.
Check out flea markets to start substituting those sockets. Around here I find snap on sockets for about 4-5 bucks each. For impact sockets I started with harbor freight ones. For starting out they cant be beaten. I still have a couple I use because I havent found replacements for them at the flea market.
Craftsman makes a large set like that, there was a thread about it. Seemed to run about 300. You'd catch alot less flak about using craftsman than HF when you start out.
Trust me, I beat on my HF tools also, but thats what their for. If I break it I can buy another for dirt cheap or get it warrantied.
Tools are tools, you get what you can afford or prefer. It's all about convenience especially warranties or for me the Snap-on truck rolls right up to my front door every week and the closest HF, Sears, Fleet Farm, etc...is an hour or more away so the logical choice was Snap-On.

Can you tell me what the large adjustable is in the front of your drawer? (Pic 6) I cant say I have ever seen one that adjusts like it!

Nothing special here, just finally got around to taking pictures. Any questions/comments feel free to speak up.![]()
I love that green Snappy box if my matco box wasnt like new and the special order purple that i got years ago. I would love to trade mine in and get a set like that just one little thing holds me back mine is paid for that new box would not be.
Here's a pair of drawer units I bought about 25 years ago. I'm not sure of their original purpose, but their great for tools and other odds and ends.

Each pair of drawers will pull forward and lock in an angled position. The individual drawers (one pair per slide) are also removable.

I could probably justify a bit more capacity, but this one has served me well for many years now...........
The bottom drawer of the top cabinet was autographed by Tim Allen at the Meadowbrook Historic Races several years ago < RRR >![]()
