This thread has some pics of the drawers as of last summer when I got the box. I'll take some new pics this weekend of the drawers, they are better stocked now!

My box is also the main section of a KRL1001. :)

I own KRL1001B and i love mine!! i had most of common and heavy sockets in my top wide drawer of KRL1001B. no problems to open or close. but i still need to fix the bottom wide of KR1200 to stop it from roll out itself... it is almost empty but keep roll out... :wtf:

Craftsman just replaced by the Mac. Have a few lista type boxes for hardware etc around the garage. Just about everything is on wheels of course, but under that one box seems to be a good parking spot for the pallet jack which gets a lot of use.

Yeah they've got a modular assembly line going on; their sheet metal sections and drawers will interchange from one box to the other. :)

Its makes it nice, as you can change drawers around very easily.

I want to take out a 4" deep center drwaer and put in 2 2" drawers, one for metric wrenches, and one for pliers. I currently have a 4" drawer with pliers, which is a major waste of space.

Too bad the drawers are so expensive!

Old mans new used toy, hasn't put all his stuff in it yet. Shameful thing is hes going to hang an ugly red and grey sidebox on it...

Red one is a Beach i bought 15 years ago. Slides. Still work well. Paid roughly 500$ at Costco. Used it when i was working as a machinist when i was 20 years old.

Stainless box i got from Costco also. Paid 800$ last year. Ball bearing slides.

They are already overflowing. Need more.

Here is where I keep my tools (it's an older image). I got a good deal on it since it was a trade in off of the cornwell truck, cost me about 3900 empty it goes for about 7-8000 new. Otherwise, I would have bought the larger craftsman professional tool chest. It's got the lift latch design, like the craftsman one. I don't really care for the color or the stickers on it, and make no mistake, once it's paid off, it's getting sprayed black.... This is what I originally wanted:

That Corwell is one sharp looking box. Is that the one your going to paint black? Sure seems like a shame, but hey, if thats what you want, its yours.

Don't get me wrong, burgundy is ok. It's just I would like to airbrush a ghost bmw logo with blue flames (maybe blue lightning like what's on it) on the back, sides and maybe one where the cornwell logo is on the front. Not to mention, all the bmw cars I own are black so....... But then again it would be hard to do since it's that color through and through, who knows, it's not paid off yet.

what is size of your cornwell box? are you like cornwell box? i just wonder because i was noticed that your cornwell box had larger drawer as no shallow drawers.... :wtf:

i would buy craftsman 56in wide and 30 in deep combo but i got sweet deal for snap on KRL1001 and KR1200 which i paid both below than new KRL1201 top chest list price (4,600 dollars).. it is paid off so i am stay what i had boxes and i still have a lot of spaces to fill...

No different than buying a car and wanting to paint it another color later. Tastes change. Sometimes people want good, better. Like I said before, it would be hard to do since it's that color through and through. On top of that, it would be a major pain to remove all my tools, stickers and shiny aluminum parts just to begin the process of painting it. I still haven't made up my mind, I just had my heart set on black at the time.

My junk. Started with the red 26" bottom cabinet in 1990 and just bought the 40" bottom cabinet about two years ago. As with everyone, there never seems to be enough room......
