Wrench3047 is correct. They are "micro bore" lines attached to hydraulic pressure guages. The are a quick way of tapping into pressure ports/guage ports on hydraulic systems without shutting down the machine. Mostly used on production machines.

so im curious with all the hyd pres gauges and orings what do you do?

I'm a forman (for lack of a better word) of a hydraulics repair/rebuild shop. We do mobile and industrial jobs. Everything from CAT equipment to machines that compress makup for Estee Lauder and everyhting in between. People call up and ask what we fix and i say "if it has oil in it, we can fix it."

Dont let the price fool you, they are fantasic. They dont hold a great edge but if back your work with aluminum they last a long time.

Get yourself a slab of lead, or if you don't like lead in the shop, a hardwood 4x4 or so block and use them into the end grain. Used like that they last near forever.

That Power tool box just needs a little organization. Rig a rack for the "gun" type tools so they are lined up and can be grabbed at will, get the router and (Two?) sanders stored face down, if Security isn't an issue stick a 2x2 block on the end of the box and clamp the clamps to it. Rig a couple of hooks on the inside of the doors and hang the triangle squares, you might be able to do the same with hammers on the lower right side door... Lots of opportunity there...

Outlaw, my guys go in and out of the Knaack box daily, it is a miracle if it ever stays orderly. You should see the other one, looks just like that one.

Looks like a Ridgid ratcheting flaring tool to me.

Yes exactly...it's my emergency one. It has a 37 degree cone in it for doing JIC hydraulic lines. We also have a 10,000 psi hydraulic flaring machine to do up to 1 1/2 inch, .120'' wall tubing  but it's pig heavy and does not travel well lol

Mugen, very nice!

Thank you sir. However it's chump change compared to most guys on here. I was able to pry myself away from this forum for about a year, but my desire for an Epiq has pulled me back in...and none of you guys are helping!!! :lol_hitti

Here's my horrible little box that i've outgrown majorly. :(

Top: Metric sockets only. No room for SAE. (SAE sockets are in a box on the bench.)
20120325_175611.jpg

1st drawer: Metric wrenches, nut drivers, hex keys, and metric impact wobble sockets.
20120325_175629.jpg

2nd drawer: SAE wrenches, SAE hex keys, and 1/4 drive metric sockets.
20120325_175650.jpg

3rd drawer: razor blades, extensions, ratchets, drive converters, and torx bit set.
20120325_175753.jpg

Mid Divider: Random ****. More wrenches, metric ratcheting wrenches flex tip and "normal." Brushes, pick set, small torx set, multimeter(s), etc.
20120325_175811.jpg

1st drawer bottom: Pliers, vise grips, wire strippers, etc..
20120325_175829.jpg

2nd drawer bottom: screwdrivers and lots of them. Impact screwdriver, gasket scrapers, files, pry bars.
20120325_175837.jpg

Bottom: Tap and die set. MORE wrenches (Metric), torque wrench, huge drill bit set, impact driver set, other ****, etc.
20120325_175853.jpg

I need a much bigger box... there's a bunch of stuff not even in there. :(

I dont know if thats sarcasm but i do often find myself wandering the shop looking for the big shop ones that people never put back like 1 3/8, 1 1/2, 1 5/8 etc etc...one of my next investments. OEX724K:thumbup:

Funny that you ask if that was sarcasm or not. Some people can get buy with what you have, some people can get by with alot less. Whereas for me... Everything in this drawer gets used at least once a week, most multjple times a day.... Also have a lower drawer with a 1 1/8 to 2" set.

Not nearly as awesome as some of the setups on this whole thread, but here is my humble beginning collection of SO stuff, with more on the way. Replacing all of my Craftsman stuff simply because I don't like it after having used a few professional tools, and my wife got me this awesome toolbox for my birthday

Inside of some of the drawers, all Snap-On. Still have empty drawers that need filling and my ratchets and sockets are on the way.
