TonyCH what the hell is that huge vent pipe in your first picture? Geothermal or just a giant *** clothes dryer for all your heavy winter clothes up there at the north pole?
LOL, the place is in a cave under a shopping mall / high rise building so I guess its part of the air circulation system. You know the thing ninjas etc. crawl in movies to get stealthy access to buildings ;) I use it to hang compressor hoses, lights and extension cords on it.

Tony what is that ratchet below the snap on's.
Cheapo chinese 1/4" sold under Biltema brand. BTW. the one with green SO handle is actually Hazet :willy_nil

Some more drawer shots, my puller set and the service truck box. Someday I take some drawer shots of the road box.

I had a box just like with the full locker. The amount of tools you can fit in those drawers is amazing. A few years after I traded that box, a bought a used KRA 4813, the double bank version of the 4107 for at home. I hated that box, the drawers were just to damn small. I sold it after about a year.

I agree, I really love the full width drawers. The way I see it is, I can always partition off a full width drawer if need be but I can't stretch a narrow drawer. You're also right about the amount of storage this setup has. I moved over all my tools and am amazed how empty this box still is. I guess I just need to buy more tools! :bounce:

I would love to have the matching side locker but I'm not holding my breath on finding one for a price I'm willing to pay

Bobcatdan, nice use of space. Love the decor and all.

Really, I want to ask for some pics of the yellow, blue and red socket trays in the 2nd and 3d pics of post #8158. If possible, where did they come from, mfgr, after market, home made?

Dave.

The yellow and red trays are mac trays that came with the socket sets. The blue trays are cornwell. I personally always liked the metal trays the best, but everybody has gone away from them for some useless, space hogging plastic do hicky.

Bobcatdan, Where do you get your pliers from?

Yes most in the main box are SO, but there is a few mac, knipex and even channellock in there. I went a little overboard a few years ago on the plier drawer. It was a real hodge podge of mostly used hand me downs and I wanted a match set, I can be OCD when it comes to tools. My road box has channellock and some klein. I like those everybit as much as the SO.

Hey Dan, I'm diggin' on your four way angle wrench set. What's that go up to...like 2"? Thats awesome. I wanna be like you when I grow up! Looks like you're about ready to add the second set of drawer slides to your box. Lotta weight in those drawers.

Set goes to 1 5/8". I don't really have no need for angle wrenches any bigger. I have std combos not picture up to 2", but those mainly hold a shelf under the bench from getting up and running away.

What's "the price"
Gave $500 down and Snap-on credit is gonna carry $1500 no interest for 6 months.
I originally paid for my trade in $2750 for the rollcab and $300 for the top chest.
So you could say that I paid $5050 for this new box.

was that 1033 part of the las vegas special?
No, he had it before the show. He did show me the boxes that they had on display that they didn't want to take back. They were going for 40-60% off
