haha. reme aint there no mo'. got his own gig now installing da stinga wyaz and bruetoof... armorall up da tirez. lol

Ahh, the kings of the bolt on custom. Being a 50's style custom enthusiest, its hard to not lough when people drool over the "custom" cars they build. Not saying what they do is easy, but bolt on kits is a LONG way from the hand formed and hammer welded body panels that a 50's style custom requires.

Reme left?

Hi DaveBlank,I was playing around with the on-line Matco configuator feature, and wanted to ask you if you know why they don't show a lock on the 6 series intermidiate chests? It does have one, doesn't it? Does the top lid setup have gas struts that hold the lid up,and does it stay in a straight-up position,or does it lean down some? Also, when you order a bottom, intermidiate and top lid setup, does it come all in one piece? Or is assembly required.how does the 6s compare to a KRL series setup? Hope you don't mind all the questions....Thanks,Steve

On the intermediate box there is no lock cylinder. It will attach to the lock rods on the main box & work with that. The lid accessory opens to between 80-85 degrees do it's allmost straight up. The 6 series can be shipped pre-assembled. Also all locks will be keyed alike if requested.

Compare to KRL--they are both quality boxes. We can say ours is stronger/better & so can Snap-On. I know that ours can be configured to meet your needs for no cost. I don't know if the KRL can. I would buy it from the dealer that I had the best working relationship with & could get me a price that I could work with.

I sent you my # in a pm. Call me if you get some time.

And I just picked up a Burgandy Cornwell 36" wide top and bottom box today, since I am just now getting started in the mechanic world... I'm 23, and have been at a Kubota dealer for 3 months now.
