This set was gifted to me today.:rocker:
top- KRA-59A?
bottom- KRA-377A?

I'll double check after I unload them

My boss gave me this identical set when I started working for him 3 years ago, my boss also happens to be my future father in law, I now have a Matco 6s triple bay but still have the SO set at home they are awesome, I'm thinking about doing a restore on mine soon.

This is the 3rd box I've purchased in about 6 months. The first was bought for 500 including transportation cost and sold for 1350. The next I paid 500 again including transportation cost and ended up trading it to the SO rep for 500 cash plus some accessories to get my newest box fixed up. 5 additional sets of HD slides so I could double all the drawer slides up, 3 new locks and 4 keys, and finally a brand new set of KRL liners for the new to me KRL7002. I picked this box up for 1300 after transportation costs but in the end I'm only in it 450 bucks after reselling the other 2 boxes. It doesn't get any cheaper than that for a box of this quality that is 100% complete and operational in every way.

I just picked up a Matco 4s triple bay box Tuesday. I had a Snap-On KRL box before it, but I got tired of the reps business practices, so i cut my losses and told him to take it back I was done doing business with him. Big plus is I have a lot more storage space, and I save almost $50 a month over what I was paying the so. guy. now on the the pictures
Im not too fond of the color, but I needed a box ASAP and it was all he had in stock. For some reason it looks a lot lighter in the picture. It is the thunderstorm grey

The Snap-On I had before.

I'm diggin' the yellow, but I'd hate to have to keep it clean.

I wax it fairly often so a quick wipe down with some quick detailer cleans it up easily. I dig the Ultra Yellow too, and for the price I couldn't pass it up. I got paid 50 dollars to upgrade from a 7/10 KRA2312 to a 8.5/10 KRL7002. Only downside is between the 3 boxes I had to buy and sell to get here I probably have 15+ hours of drive time. I factored in the cost of gas to the box prices though so I still did very well. If I could drive for a living making 100/hr I'd do it all day everyday.

Too bad the Duc was sold before I got this box, it would have made for a nice pic.

That grey matco box looks nice, definitely a size upgrade from the snap on. I wish I had a matco guy so I could check out their boxes.

My little box :)

WOW, maybe small, but well organized, and full of VERY high quality tools. Agree with Moronmountain above, that thing must have some heft to it?

those are the cornwell ones, but ive seen the mac and snap on ones around my shop and im pretty sure they're from the same company. kinda like knipex gets whored around to all the tool trucks and they just stamp their brands on em. here's a link:

http://www.cornwelltools.com/webcat/products.php?product=KLT311PG-%2d-11”-Offset-Cutting-Plier

they help with reaching stuff for sure, but ultimately all that handle makes for some super high leverage, which makes them able to cut some interesting stuff. ive gone as high as 4 awg stranded cable and they didnt bat an eye.

Awesome set of Wihas!

Thanks they are as addicting as Knipex. I didnt put pictures upnof all the allen drivers I have and nut drivers from them as well. Theyre just so nice to use and they offer so many options it becomes a big trap. On the plus side I swear about screwdrivers a lot less now.

My little box :)

Welcome to Garage Journal rumb. It's alway interesting to seen what our European members have. Yours may be a "little" box but you sure have a lot of good tools in it.

Your box looks very much like the Hazet cantilever box. Does Hazet make them for Stahwille? I like Hazet blue but that forest green is cool, makes it look a bit elegant. I like it.

An updated picture of the vise grip/locking plier drawer.

I recently picked up 5 new pair by price matching (Home Depot) a sale item from Do-It Best for $5.97. They might be China made but that's a china price.

Picked this fella up last weekend off Kijiji for the grand total of $40. Well, I actually gave the guy a $50 and told him to keep the change because he helped me lug it down a second story fire escape lol. Fair amount of surface rust (stored outdoors for a couple months) but no deep pitting or holes, casters are in great shape and all slides work. A few are sticky but that can be remedied easily. Bottom and mid section have locks intact (need to source keys) and the top needs the whole locking mechanism (not hard to make). Top is a KC506B, middle section is a KC605A and the bottom is a KC556B - all made in Canada in 1979! :canada: Definitely a project....

Hello and thanks! I don't know, who make them for Stahlwille, Hazet looks really like twin brother. "Forest green" really shines in daylight. It's the best, what I found here.

It's heavy. Empty box ~5.5kg. It's the bigest - 530mm long. With tools I can take it with one hand, no problem. Hopefully, it's not so far from home to car, from car to garage, etc. :)

Later will bee More better photos. Even Wallpapers. ;)

I love my old corded phones. They never fail :p
After hurricane Wilma (2005) only the corded phones at my house still worked. No cell service and no power. The lighted keypads on the princess phones were a big help calling the power company in the dark. My children and grandchildren rely on cell phones so I couldn't contact them but I'm sure they were able to entertain themselves until their batteries died. Needless to say, I've kept my land line.... "Oh grandpa, nobody uses those phones anymore."

Me too. a couple of years ago northwest Kalifornia was complexly isolated for something like a week due to the over-reliance on "new/better" tech.

Gas stove, (plus camp stove backups) archaic phones, (a lot harder to listen in on as well; how many "private" conversations have been exposed via Cell phones and "wireless" house phones?) and a single 1200 watt generator if I REALLY need some power during a long outage..
