New husky on the right replacing the no name box on the left that a guy at work gave me. Husky cost me 109 out the door at Home Depot.

Yes. It seems to be holding up fine.

It's funny you posted this because I'm in the process of redoing the same toolbox as the one on the left. It was a gift from my girlfriend's grandma. It was her late husbands so I felt compelled to restore it... I'll take a pic of the badge tonight and post it if you'd like.
i know pro's who dont have tools that nice, or well kept. awesome collection man![]()
My tools are a hodgepodge of Craftsman, Stanley, Harbor Freight, and lots of other brands ranging from Snap-on to the $5 tool bin at the hardware store. GJ has been a great resource as I've built my collection, although I've definitely had to fight some OCD tendencies that it's created too!I'd be willing to bet that box on the left is a Test Rite tool box. If it has "pegboard" on the inside that will pretty much confirm it.
Also, I like the Husky. While they aren't the beefiest boxes on the planet, they offer a lot of storage for the money.

I am 21 and just starting out for building my tool collection. I am a mechanic in the CF and they supply tools and such at work. Most of my tools are from Canadian Tire. I picked up this older Beach top box on the local kijiji for $60! It still had the plastic wrap on the drawer pulls. I lined the drawers and have slowly been filling it up. I am on the hunt for the bottom roller that belongs with it.

$60 for that box? Great deal. What are the dimensions of the box? It looks bigger than the standard 26" wide top box. I'm with Jake, that is a really different and IMHO nice drawer layout. Great mix of deep, shallow, wide, narrow drawers.evandonald - That's a great box and what a deal! You can't go wrong with a Beach. I bought my first Beach box (an earlier version of yours) at Canadian Tire when I was about your age. That was in the mid 70's and it's still going strong. The old lady across the street gave me that box on the left when she moved. It is just taking up space in my garage. Not very usable.
