Made a little wrench rack today, as I was sick of them looking untidy (this is all your fault, guys!)
Before;
And after;
Ok, so it's not the greatest (or neatest) achievement in the world, but it does the job. I have a fairly dense piece of foam I use as a kneeling pad, so I trimmed 3.5" off the end, and as it turns out, cut that bit in half and it's the perfect width for one of the small drawers (so I have another bit left over I could use for something else, or even another wrench rack if I add more). I was gonna do them leaning at an angle, but then for the sake of ease I put them straight. Just marked up where they needed to be, then drilled a 5mm hole from either side (drill bit wasn't long enough to go all the way through) and cut down to the hole with a utility knife. Not the neatest job, as a few of the widths are a bit off, and I got the angle wrong on one so it's on the piss a bit, but hey ho...
Just need to get hold of an 18 and a 15 now. I'm sure I had a 15, but must have lost it. Never had an 18 in this set (pretty sure) and I do have a random 18, but it's a cheap and nasty thing, that doesn't match (you guys fault again!) and is thicker than the Facom ones, so doesn't fit so nicely.
Sizes are 7-19 (sans 15 and 18 for now), all Facom 40 series
EDIT : correction - the 7mm is not a Facom 40 - it's a Draper something or other... Might have to buy a 7mm Facom 40 now too...!!!
