Awesome upgrade!!! Well deserved
Did you seriously chain you're little rolling stool to you box?
Damn co-workers!
Lol ya, I chained it to my box. My co-workers tend to "borrow" anything that isn't chained down... Lol
Since you work in a shop all somebody would have to do is get a jack and jack up the one corner of your toolbox and take the stool and chain as one. Ive been in the same boat as you... my POS craftsmen tool box had no key to lock it so I took a couple heavy duty chains and chained it shut. Looked ghetto and I KNOW somebody could have cut the chain but if they did that I could have accused SOMEBODY of messing with my stuff VS. coming back from vacation and saying somebody went in my toolbox and "borrowed" something. God knows if I did accuse somebody of taking a tool management would be the FIRST to say "Well.. you shoulda locked up your box before you left."I think you know that's kinda pointless.Since you work in a shop all somebody would have to do is get a jack and jack up the one corner of your toolbox and take the stool and chain as one. Cannot remember if I've posted my box in here, 645 pages is a little to much searching.
Anyhow, My modest KRL1056. Paid 1600 large for it secondhand new.
Very nice setup. Is that just a home/DIY box or do you work out of it? Love the shadow organization, even if it does cost space.![]()
For the love of God, I hope there was a fire, earthquake, or a meteor heading for this guy's shop, that predicated this senseless action.
If not, pull his man card.

So tempting.
SuperMegaCliff -- Welcome and nice box!
I wonder -- how much of a PIA is it to keep that white finish clean?
Any one have a macsimizer?? My mb1860's top drawer slides didnt have that little lock feel to them so my new dealer passed them on warranty. The new ones are horrible, anyone know who makes the older style ones the new ones are accuride and they ****. I would like to get the metal clip in the rear track and just repair the old ones. Sorry didnt wanna start a new thread nor hijack this one but this is the best thread! (New style is on the glove)
Heres a pic of what im referring to.....![]()
They did not handle the load of my top drawer very well and removed them immediately. The intermediate detents are **** and half the plastic adjustments were broken when they arrived (had them shipped). I couldn't find any markings on the slides other than the patent numbers on the detents which were owned by Waterloo. That's about as far as I got, been meaning to call them up..I got some replacement slides a couple months back for my MB1860 and they sent me the same cheesy slidesThey did not handle the load of my top drawer very well and removed them immediately. The ones in this pic...u have the full set of 4
Just added a side cab to my KRL722 today. Now it's quite a wide box! I like having the extra work surface.

Do you have more pictures of the front angle aluminum piece? That looks nice and stock.
