Lucky!
Yeah man, it's a pretty sweet gig and nice to not have to beat up my tools all day anymore.Lucky!
For being a narrower stacked box they do have plenty of room.Wow. Those Protos look mighty deep!
Great looking box.It arrived today from Naperville Illinois, wrapped in plastic covered in styrofoam enclosed in a heavy cardboard box and encircled with heavy pressboard with metal flashing on the corners. The delivery guy said it was the most carefully packed thing he had ever seen, including expensive medical equipment. It's an Extreme 72" roll cab with 18 drawers and a stainless top. The first thing I did was pry off those garish Extreme Tools logos. I told my wife when she took the picture that when I die she can gut the box and bury me in it!

Here's the first attempt at drawer organization. I still need to put the 1/2" extensions on a socket rail. I might move the drive hardware over to the main socket drawer depending on room. I also want to see how the stuff stays put on that stock liner foam:

I bought the Mac bottom box and Snap-On top box filled with a motley collection of tools back in the 70's from a guy in Stockton who had fallen on hard times. They were old when I bought them. As my tool collection grew, I ran out of room and added the Craftsman middle box, then the Craftsman side cab later on. So I guess I should name the unit Topsy, because she just growed! After inheriting my Dad's tool collection earlier this year, I knew I needed more room, so that's when I began my research, eventually resulting in the purchase of the Extreme 72" box. It would have been hard to see Topsy go, but luckily my brother-in-law needs a rollaway so he will be keeping it in the family.
Cheers,
Paul

Impressive collection. Do you ever forget you have a certain tool? Like when you transferred them, did you uncover a lot of tools you forgot you had? It's a good feeling for sure, like getting a tool for free (one that was handpicked by -yourself).
