I'm partial to Kennedy and machinists boxes..The patina is very nice..and the chips in the wheels brings back memories of my work shoes at Kelsey Hayes..around all those Bullards.. Love the hub caps on the wheels!

Thanks for posting..

Thanks Dennis...I paid my mortage and raised my family out of this box. Kinda get attached to them after so many years...Always been a big fan of the moon discs so i thought my box needed some too..:)

Finally got it organized and mounted to the wall so here are some pics. As you can see it is the rebadged snap on that is so popular on this site. I hate it but it was $30 out of pocket, and since the garage got robbed drilling holes to tapcon it to the wall and add locks didnt matter.

Hey can you do a drawer by drawer?

What's the specs on your box? Almost looks identical to my Mac mb1000,I wouldn't doubt if mine was just a rebadge job.

HF 56", just a few of the drawers. Most of what's in there is courtesy of GJ and the Hot Deals section. I went from that black/red CMAN (most of it is still in the box) set on the right to what you see below. I've got a CMAN 26 inch stack, that I had before this, it now holds doubles and less used stuff like my 3/4" drive sockets and 12 point 1/2" drive sockets.

I really don't like the hammer/pry bar drawer, it just seems like so much wasted space in there.

Don't mind the mess, I really do need to clean up though.

x2 on seeing the drawer by drawer for that box!

Ask and you shall receive :D I did a slideshow so I don't upset the masses with a 5 page long post.

57" x 25" and 625 lbs. An MB1000 is actually a lot smaller box but Proto does have their own version of that too. This one's closest MAC twin is an MB1850.

There is nothing wrong at all with a dresser!! Haha for a couple years I had a tall dresser(wooden chest of drawers). I graduated from that to a craftsman then to a better craftsman...then I bought another matching craftsman and then sold them for a harbor freight 56" then sold that recently for a krl7002

I have a pair of them, also handed down from my father.

Do you have the tray/ socket organizer?

That was my very first toolbox. Bought one brand new back in '89. Gave it way to someone years ago and still regret that. Matter of fact have been watching CL and ebay to get another one

Here's my tool collection I've built up in the past few months. I had just a few Harbor Freight tools which I tried to use to change my brake rotors and pads, but they literally fell apart as I used them. So I've built up a good collection of mostly U.S.A. Made tools. Luckily my local Sears had a lot of NOS U.S.A. Craftsman left, so I bought the last of those and I was able to use the Hot Deals thread to get excellent prices on a lot of it, such as the $40.00 Craftsman bottom chest, used the SYWR FB coupons, etc. Anyway here it is, I think I have the basics down. It's all in a Craftsman 26" top and bottom.

Craftsman claw and ball pein hammers, a few Craftsman levels, and a Stanley tape measure

Craftsman Flare-Nut wrenches and six-point combos

Craftsman adjustable wrenches and some Vise-Grips

Craftsman drivers and Eklind hex key sets

Craftsman Premium, Thin Profile, RP ratchets, and breaker bars in 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 drive

1/4, 3/8, 1/2 drive sockets and extensions

Craftsman RP twelve-point combos up to 1" and 20mm

Various Channellock and Craftsman pliers

Craftsman prybar set, cotter key puller, multimeter, c-clamp and a pair of Wiss Snips.

Craftsman Evolv 1/2" impact sockets, Gearwrench breaker bars, Craftsman nutdrivers, and some preemptive ratchet repair kits.

I've got up to 1 1/2" and 32mm in 3/4 drive. Wrenches go to 1 5/16, our shop wrench set starts at 1 1/2 and goes up which has been annoying on occasion. I've been meaning to pick up the last few sizes to get me up to 1 1/2
