Sounds like expensive real estate, but all the good quality new boxes are expensive to me since I bought mine in 1989.

That's awesome! And left to yourself? That was my old dream job. Now i don't fix Sprinters, i drive one. (Well it's a VW Crafter, but 90% the same.)
Here is my new Kennedy Versa Bench. Going to get a slow restore with a vise mounted on top. The walls that the drawer slides mount on do not go all the way to the top plate. This allows you to use the 1/8" thick top plate for heavy work without worrying about affecting the alignment of the drawers. If any of you know how to remove this type of ball bearing slide, i could use some help!
Pictures of slide are in my other post.

Is that a foxbody/5.0 Coyote build?
Today I added the 7 drawer side cab to my Harbor Freight 44. They let me in the back to open and inspect the cabinet before I paid for it. While in back of the store I noticed all the 44" and above models are now in full wooded crates. When I purchased my top & bottom chest last year they were in the typical cardboard boxes with a wooden frame around them.
I inspected the cabinet in the back and the guy helped me place it on a roll cart to take it up front and pay for it. I grabbed one of the white tags from the display model so the clerk knew what to ring it up as. I handed the tag at the cash register who happened to be the store manager. He scanned it then tells me "I'm taking $50 off since you bought the display model" I said thanks and paid $139.99 + tax and went out the door.
Nobody offered to come out and help load it (they weigh 125lbs) so I don't feel bad saving $50.

Hello GJ members. Been lurking for a few months, (not a cheap forum to follow...) and figured this would be a good introduction. I am primarily a woodworker, (hobbyist), but turn the occasional wrench for fun/to save $ on simple things I can fix/upgrade myself). I am still organizing as I just got the Macsimizer shoe-horned into the garage last weekend, (an $1800 craigslist find).
Very nice find. Great price on a newer Macsimiser.
How do you keep things organized when there mounted upside down.

This is pretty cool! I have a soft spot for Kennedy. I don't know how they stack up in comparison to other brands, but my machinist friend seems to love them. Here is my new Kennedy Versa Bench. It's funny, I can never find a 3/8 ratchet in this whole box. I know parts of it were custom painted because the color was discontinued. So he has over a hundred grand just in tool boxes?? nice write off
