One on the right is mine. Do might be gaining a bit of additional sq inches

That looks like a KRL722 box, which is still only 24" deep. The KRL722 is only 7.5% larger than the Classic78. If that is a KRL7022 (29" deep) rather than a KRL722 (24" deep), then you're right there is a lot more room.

Classic78 = 6300in²

That's awesome! And left to yourself? That was my old dream job. Now i don't fix Sprinters, i drive one. (Well it's a VW Crafter, but 90% the same.)

If all I had to worry about was wrenching on them, my stress level would be waaaay down. It's all the other BS that we have to do/held accountable for that makes it insane. To list all the other stuff would take me a couple pages. I am not even kidding..Don't get me wrong. It is a great company to work for. I work in a safe, clean, warm dry environment but the way things have changed in the last couple years for us, there are days when you have to laugh or else you would hang yourself with an extension cord..I have been with them since 1991. I have been in my station here now since 1997. I work mon-fri straight days. great benefits. 5 weeks paid vacation, sick days (which I never use and get paid for them). 2 personal paid days and 2 floating holidays. All major holidays off and paid...and they pay me pretty good..

Today I added the 7 drawer side cab to my Harbor Freight 44. They let me in the back to open and inspect the cabinet before I paid for it. While in back of the store I noticed all the 44" and above models are now in full wooded crates. When I purchased my top & bottom chest last year they were in the typical cardboard boxes with a wooden frame around them.
I inspected the cabinet in the back and the guy helped me place it on a roll cart to take it up front and pay for it. I grabbed one of the white tags from the display model so the clerk knew what to ring it up as. I handed the tag at the cash register who happened to be the store manager. He scanned it then tells me "I'm taking $50 off since you bought the display model" I said thanks and paid $139.99 + tax and went out the door.
Nobody offered to come out and help load it (they weigh 125lbs) so I don't feel bad saving $50.

Here is my new Kennedy Versa Bench. Going to get a slow restore with a vise mounted on top. The walls that the drawer slides mount on do not go all the way to the top plate. This allows you to use the 1/8" thick top plate for heavy work without worrying about affecting the alignment of the drawers. If any of you know how to remove this type of ball bearing slide, i could use some help!
Pictures of slide are in my other post.

Primarily a woodworker, but turn the occasional wrench

Hello GJ members. Been lurking for a few months, (not a cheap forum to follow...) and figured this would be a good introduction. I am primarily a woodworker, (hobbyist), but turn the occasional wrench for fun/to save $ on simple things I can fix/upgrade myself). I am still organizing as I just got the Macsimizer shoe-horned into the garage last weekend, (an $1800 craigslist find).

a few more drawers...

The last few drawers. I am actually looking for a service cart to put most of my auto-specific tools into so I can fit the rest of my woodworking hand tools, (chisels, rasps, etc) into the macsimizer. I have been downsizing my garage for the last few years and have a bit more to go before the shop is back to being a useful place to make projects, (the move from Texas to Hawaii tripled the cost and halved the amount of space).

hmm, keep getting an error when I try to upload the rest of the pics....

I have doubts about the layout.
maybe I can use the second space in a single column of drawers.
7 of 34" wide and 2,4" tall.
and other 3 of 5,5" tall.

what you think? are too large?

Hi, people
I am working to make my own tool box.
Aprox size 40" tall x 59" wide x 20" deep.
It will have another 12 drawers in the left space, and six wheels.

Very nice
Is that a foxbody/5.0 Coyote build?

Is a '83 Argentinian Ford Taunus Coupe Sp5.
I am building that with a Forged low compresion ford racing Coyote. (twin turbo in the future I hope...), T56 gearbox, Racing 6pot Brakes, Z06 Wheels, Lincoln Mark viii IRS, Detroit TrueTrac Locker, 4.11, tubular chassis. etc. :D

I am building that for more of 10 years... (with lots of change across the time..)

Thanks. I was beating myself up after having missed a Matco 6S for $2500 the week before. Now if I could just find a matching top box and some extra drawer slides for the 2 lower drawers for a semi-reasonable price.

Here's another couple of drawer pics:

Got this off CL a couple of weeks ago to replace my HF 56". Found it on CL for $1800. Triple bays don't pop up here often and when they do they are usually $3000. I am still organizing. I will post some drawer pice later this week.

This is pretty cool! I have a soft spot for Kennedy. I don't know how they stack up in comparison to other brands, but my machinist friend seems to love them.
