Not sure on the exact model.
I'm guessing it's a KRL722 with the matching top box.

Brought my road box home to do some side work so figured I would snap some pics.
Well it is usually on my box at work unless I am in the field. I do have a cover for it though which helps alot.Nice setup. Do you keep it exposed in the back of your truck at all times or was is just in transport? I didn't think those boxes were weatherproof.

I was thinking KRL1022

One can tell those are real working tools, not for tool polishers. That box must be a hefty lift into the truck bed.
Yep we have a sling we put under the bottom edges and use the over head cranes to load and unload themRoad boxes like that are north of 200 lbs empty. When I was at the dealer, we had lifting brackets to hook to the side handles then used a cherry picker or overhead to move them in and out of the truck/vans.
That's a good looking box. It's a KRL722 bottom with a KRL791 top. There should be stickers on the back of the boxes that will tell you about it.
I've got the same setup and love it a lot. It's already in this thread somewhere but I'll attach a picture for you. It's a great box. I like mine a lot. Just not my snap on dealer. So I may sell it for a Mac just for the support. Because I've got some messed up slides and my dealer won't get any replacements for me because 1022's are his bread and butter and he wants me to buy one instead.

Sorry guys. Yeah there's stickers and you've got the codes right. It's just at work so couldn't check when I posted. That was the only pic I had of it. I'll take some of the drawers soon
Epiq 68 power top with work station. Midnight Blue
Made work station accessories that snap on cheaps out on like stainless shelves and glove holder.
Krl1022 has spring loaded casters the krl722 does not. Just like the box pictured
You might have a talk with Grandpa. It might make him sleep better knowing that his tools are with you. You can always make it VERY clear that they are HIS tools and you are just borrowing them.
Also had two less drawers
Merb
How is it now that it's loaded down? Drawer slides feel ok, etc?
The stainless side shelf was made buy a local business. Not that happy with the finish of it but I've always had one and love it.
.
Thanks. Wanted one for many years however I do have slight buyers remorse. If I could sell it for what I bought it for I would buy one from strictlytoolboxes with a hutch for much less.
They stopped by the dealership today and dropped this off for me

One of the techs at work in an attempt to make me feel better said its the last box I'll ever buy. I agree with him but I still look back and go damn I spent a ton of money on a box.In 5 years when that box is still going you won't be remorseful
1190wrench.....do you work for Pierce?
That's a nice box by the way.
That's slick, how it is quality and sturdy wise vs the other side shelf offerings? Dimensions? Mind sharing price? I've thought about making a stainless one that will tolerate paint eating fluids. Mine looks like hell from chemicals sitting.
and I'm missing the hardware for the handle
