Here's my box. I am a heavy duty diesel tech and I am only 18. I am slowly upgrading the tools I use a lot from craftsman to snap on, once I run out of room I plan on upgrading to a master series snap on box. Here's my setup.

ChevyZ71 that's a really nice setup! Good job man, I have been doing HD for the last year after switching from helicopters. Glad to see you investing into good tools before buying a ridiculous box! Get the ridiculous box when you start making the ridiculous pay cheques :) that's been my plan, got a Mac Tech series now.

Picked up a KRL1022 for a good deal recently and am having trouble deciding whether to keep it or my Mac double bay Macsimizer, I was looking for a side-cab or something at the time because I'm running out of room in my box. Total drawer surface area of the same except volume increases about 28% with the KRL. Two double width drawers on the KRL is awesome. Not a fan of the lock-n-roll and I really like the feel of my older Macsimizer. Maybe I should just keep both.. but space is precious and money would be nice for welding equip and other things.

Neither of the boxes are perfect. The Mac has some dents, scratches, and few rust spots. The SO has some water damage and rust at a lot of seams and stuff.

:shocking: That would be the deciding factor for me. Rust in the seams is a killer for me, it only goes down hill from there. Depends on how cheap it was and how far the rust has gotten.

This picture was the first to load on my phone and I literally looked at it for 3 minutes wondering what was going on. The black of the cabinet and the black of the mid-box blended just well enough in the Sun that I didn't know what kinda puzzle you had going.

Finally see what is really happening here. Nice implementation, love the look.

Layout wise those boxes look so much like the harbor freight 44" only a different color of course. Which isn't a bad thing at all.

Sent from my XT1095 using Tapatalk

It looks so much like the HF 44" box. The proportions look identical. It even has the tag, which I think is part of the locking mechanism, riveted to the back of each drawer like the HF boxes. Even the tag placement is the same. Centered on the big drawers and on the left side of the small drawers. The only thing I see that's different, besides the two deep drawers, is the groove at the top front of each drawer that you can see when the drawers are pulled out. It's right behind the bright metal strip. The HF drawers are smooth there. I wonder if they're made by the same manufacturer.

They defiantly are in my opinion just overpriced over here although it is a great box and I love the finish

Added a selfmade 25mm worktop to my heritage box. Cost about 1/10 of the SO one. Twice oiled and grind.

Man I've had my Epiq bottom for a month or so. Snap-on just emailed me today that the hutch had shipped today, but they have NO idea when the power top will ship. So now I'll have to put the hutch somewhere else for who knows how long until I get the top. :willy_nil :headscrat

How often did you have to rotate the tires on your old box? :lol_hitti

Looks nice, very clean. What oil finish did you use?

I like the fact that you have a recliner in your garage!

Thanks. It is my "clean" space. Still getting there. But it has a fridge recliner, full bathroom, heat and a/c. All of my woodworking tools are in a separate larger shop building. I got tired of everything covered in dust. This is my escape from the life of a house with 3 small children.

How are they going to fix it for you?

I love both boxes. What are the plans with your old one?
