That's some seriously dense storage! I can't imagine how much weight is in the 3/4"+ drive socket drawer alone.

Could you imagine the all mighty HF box loaded like that? Perfect example of why pros require better quality storage.

Yeah, in the back of that drawer is a pretty much a continuous set of 1" drive mostly impact sockets from 1-1/16"-3-1/4", the front is 3/4" drive from 1/2" to about 1-5/8" shallow and deep impacts, followed by chrome 3/4" drive SAE from 3/4" to 2-3/8" and mm from 19-50. Then a bunch of 3/4" and 1" ratchets, adapters, extensions, tubular wrenches, etc. All told I'd say it weighs a few hundred pounds.
I've noticed some people asking why a Snap On box is worth the money, and I would point to that drawer there. Before I had that box I had the standard Craftsman 26" 3 piece friction slide stack, and with the 3/4" chrome set alone in one drawer it was all I could do to open and close that drawer. The Snap On drawer isn't exactly a one finger operation, but it is proof that they will hold whatever you want to put in them.
What's the story on the blue sockets?

I painted them for ID purposes because other guys would borrow my sockets when they couldn't find the shop's. Only half are painted because I ran out paint, and I didn't finish because I noticed that the paint was pretty thick and it obscured the size markings. Now that I'm not a working mechanic anymore I've just been too lazy to strip it back off.

Drawer tour:
Left is metric and SAE on 99% of the sockets are Craftsman USA vintage with the specialties such as the crows foot, torx, swivels being snap on.
Rarely used drawer:
Again, metric on the left and SAE on the right. Also again, wrenches are Craftsman USA
Looks good, but again....rarely used.
Kinda my aviation "specialty drawer"
Small (but growing at one a week) ratchet screwdriver collection and future home of snap on nut drivers.
Screwdrivers...obviously.
The vise grips, snap ring pliers, and hemostats and scissors non snap on. Left room for expansion.
Little to moderate use:
Milwaukee M12. Love the angle drill. The old Craftsman drill in the back of the drawer is approx. 1990 vintage and has enough torque to twist your wrist.
The tall drawer in the lower left has sorta become a storage for aerosol cans. I also like to keep a stocked tool bag in there for quick departure road-trips...etc.
Small collection of air tools

SCAM!!!! On CL here in WI too. I found it very odd the photo is reversed. Price was very iffy, but maybe priced for a quick sale giving the benefit of a doubt. Also where is the stainless top its suppose to have?

Wow it is reversed didn't even notice that. I could get the same box for around 2400 with the SEP so I thought maybe it was a student that decided he didn't want to be a tech anymore.

I believe this would fall under the same category. Bought at HF for 50 bucks. I purchased 4 pvc pre cut pieces and drilled into the side of the carts. That way I can hang my hammers on the side. Works great. Total into cart is 60 bucks. Sorry the pictures are blurry my camera is Cracked.

I think I'm going to buy a big Lista box next year due to the 400lb drawers simply because of my 3/4 and 1" stuff and the gigantic Wright wrenches I have.

That box/ad has been posted all over Craigslist. If you look close you can see the Snap-on logo is backwards from mirroring the picture which is kinda odd as well.

That is the only other alternative I would consider. When I bought this box I was fairly new to the "professional" mechanical world (shadetree-type work as a teenager with my family's trucking company), I had never heard of Lista. If I were ever to buy another box (HIGHLY doubt it), I will look very hard at those Lista Technician Series boxes.
I love it. All of it. There is something about an older red Snap-On box that I can't get enough of. They just seem like they're built like tanks and I love the way they feel when you open the drawers.
They have a character about them that I just don't feel my box will ever have.

I'm amazed at the organization of some of the toolboxes here! Not only is the garage packed, but the toolboxes are packed! I'm the guy who uses every inch of available space to make it all fit. Perhaps it's time for another box ...

Always loved the MB1700 and wanted one. It's so hard to justify one now that I have a bigger box, then again I think I could wedge one in the tool room at work where my classic 60 sits.

Like many of you, I have two (or more) roll away boxes. The Craftsman boxes were originally for my home shop and the Snap-on boxes for work. I'm a supervisor now, so got to take my Snap-on box home. This post contains pix from my Craftsman boxes - which are only slightly more organized than my snap-on box.
