Another one followed me home yesterday.
Over the past few months I have been picking up a lot of tools, I'm a relatively recent homeowner (just over a year now) I have been working at building up a set of tools now that I have the space Some quick pics of my toolbox. I'm not a mechanic or anything so just a basic setup for me. HF44 box to which I added a 3/4" plywood top.
After completing some projects around the house over the past few weeks I am hitting that "critical mass" of tools now where I actually have the tools needed to complete projects around the house with the proper tools to do the job right (which in turn makes me more inclined to tackle more projects around the house)
Top drawer as it is now. I am possibly going to move my sockets and ratchets/wrenches into this drawer still working on the organization
Hemmed and hawed about buying a good set of pliers for a while finally bit the bullet and bought a bunch of Knpiex (have some Channellock too but most of those are stored inside in smaller tool kits) and have been happy with them
When my SK-Day order gets in I will have more sockets and wrenches to go in here (hence the sentence above about possibly re-organizing). On the right are the older set of pliers/etc I have used since college most are no-name I can't really work up the heart to get rid of them though, especially since I still have empty drawers in my tool boxes
Random wrenches/sockets I got from my dad when I got my house, on the right are trusty-cook hammers I picked up recently.
Quick shot of my "workshop" area just built the workbench yesterday it came out great!

Here's my Snap-On box. I've had the top and bottom since 1998. I bought the center section in 2006 just before I got out of the business. It's a little beat up with scratches and a few dents, and some overspray, but I love it. It was my first box. I do sometimes regret putting stickers all over it and letting it get covered in overspray and whatnot but at the same time it brought back a lot of memories when I recently took it out of almost 10 year storage. Only thing I don't like is that I didn't get roller bearing drawers on the top/bottom boxes because I couldn't afford them at the time.
Safe to say, you "win".
