I never thought I would find many people from around here! That's pretty neat! And thank you 90zcar! I appreciate that! Looking through this thread gets my brain excited and my wallet scared! Hahaha
Pretty slick little setup you got there especially only 19years old. You did a good job with the video as well. Short but yet explained things

Where did you get that pry bar insert? I have those same craftsman pry bars and HF cart

Mac! It's a replacement insert for their tool carts! If you have a Mac dealer just ask him! I'm sure he can get you one ordered!

Snap On KRA3059 5 drawer top chest sat on a Kennedy 3 drawer roll cabinet.

IMG_32621_zpstrd06wxc.jpg

Small Engineer's latest Lego arrival (F150 Raptor set). We both win as I get to play with the Raptor and he gets to build Lego.

The roll cab was given free but it needed some new wheels and a general tidy up. I plan to replace it with a Snap On item in the near future that has more drawers

Tools are mainly Halfords Professional, with a sprinkling of Snap On, Bluepoint and Par-X.

Currently in the process of replacing any cheap tools with better quality ones (this place is bad!).

My Snap On guy had the 68" Epiq box like yours but it was gloss black with the metallic orange trim. So I bought it.....he already sold the matte black/ orange trim. Not a fan of matte black. The gloss black and metallic trim is awesome.

I also ordered the top chest and locker in the same trim. They currently only have that trim color for the bottom box but should be ready in about 4 weeks, so he is waiting to order as we don't want to have to replace all that trim.

Guy is selling it on facebook brand new says it never had a tool in it for $5,000

Edit: no now I realize this is a smaller box

A dogbone wrench in the wild! I thought those only existed inside of a Sears.

You know it's funny I don't think I ever would have bought one but my grandpa gave it to me one year as a Christmas present and I never thought I would use it. I tried it out for an oil change one time and it worked great, used it again another time on a different car then again on a different car and realized this thing really is handy for oil changes! It doesn't matter what car I'm doing an oil change on the correct size is on this wrench! Obviously you don't need a ratchet to get the drain plugs on and off just something to break them loose and snug them up. It's now my go to tool for this simple job... :rocker:

It came with a knockout so I didn't have to do any cutting, but I already had the stereo laying around. I use it with this power supply. It's bluetooth too, so I don't even have an aux cord to play music off of my laptop!

That's a cool idea. It gives you the option and you can chose the right stereo for you. And if you don't want it you don't have to pay for it

I just bought one for work to replace my Cornwell Cart. I do autobody work for a living and this thing works perfectly for me. Holds all my common used tools, it's small and easy to move. Plus it's tall and the top is solid. For the $$ I can't complain.

I really liked the height myself.....replacing my HF service cart. HF will hold the supplies and this new one will hold the tools.

I really like that set in the middle, especially the middle box with the drop front.

Thanks, I got really lucky and scored that whole stack with a kennedy cantilever box for a steal on CL. One of those "glad I was searching CL at 6am" type of scenarios.

That is nice mid. Is it a full 18" deep, or do you have it pulled to the front?

Picked up this kra 2422 last week, was used for 4 months, picked up for 2/3 off the regular list price with the top. Going to be going to work eventually (I am a field service mechanic anda only work out of town but do work in our shop often enough. Next to it is my home garage box, it's a 56" mastercraft maximum box, if they still made that model it would have strongly considered it for work. Going to plasti dip the chrome handles on the snap on box black and maybe the stainless top too

Yeah, I have a more modern one in orange and a most modern/current production? in brown without the drop front door. I could never find much about the drop front versions. They are an interesting box, pretty tall for a middle box, but the full depth and thin drawers really makes for good storage of cutting tools.

Picked up the bottom box this weekend. Snapon KR557E, made in 1984. Has damage to the right side where the handle used to be. Looks like it might have been fully loaded and rolled into a wall. Anyway, $100 for a fully functional box with a little bit of damage. I'm not complaining. Top box is SO too, but I don't remember the model number.

This is weird but I know a lady who drives a cuda that looks just like the one in your avatar. I see your location is National city. I live in elcajon. the lady I know, her name is Jane.

I have had this one for 7 years. Is it black and silver? I have only seen a few around here over the years.
