You just reminded me of my first experience with a "wtf" thought at work. First day on the job, borrowing my grandfather's roll up SK super chrome long wrenches and his IR impact, I'm removing wheels off a car on the rack. If nobody knows what a "rack" is its a car lift you can drive onto. It has two sliding hydraulic lifts that move underneath the car to lift it. Anyways, I see one of the other guys on another lift grab his impact, hook it up to the airline and remove one side tires (it wasn't a tire shop we just both happened to have to remove the wheels this instance). He got done with the one side, grabbed the airline with one hand and flung it like a horse shoe to the other side of the car underneath. All the guys in the shop did this. I would either pull another airline down from the other side or remove the airline and throw it to the other side. I just couldn't bring myself to let my impact take an "impact" like that. One of the guys did it one time, the air fitting snapped and left a piece in the hose and there were 4 guys in a circle tong to catch it. Looked like they were chasing a mouse lol.
