My Craftsman box, with a Gedore magnet.
It's not even a ball bearing model. The horror.

I definitely like it, and a lot of people I know have done the same exact thing. Snap on probably sells a lot of badges lolYes I was being sarcastic about my harbor freight comment. I like the company. I just thought it would be neat/ funny to rename the boxes for cosmetic purposes. It's like owning a fake rolex, to each his own.
It's been awhile since I've bought a new home box, but I got a bug to get another older snap on box. I finally came across this 1989 KR660 and Kr690 combo. I'm super happy and the box is in great shape for being over 30 years old.

Just upgraded my old box to this Epiq. Very happy with it so far.
Hello! I'm new here. Beautiful boxes everyone!
I'm an apprentice mechanic who's slowly building up a tool collection and hoping to get a box or service cart soon. For now, this is my "poor mans" set-up that works for me for the basic services ect.
The box is a vintage non name brand side/top sitting on a Husky 9 drawer parts organizer, a custom screwdriver rack that is supported and hangs on the box (I used a cabinet trim piece) I added a 2x4 for my wrenches (metric left/SAE right, same with sockets) everyday hand tools sit underneath them. Where it sits I've added a 3 prong power plug and a 2 prong plug with an iPhone charger, wireless speaker/flashlight micro USB charger, DeWalt 12v charger and a Ryobi 9.6v charger. Hand tools and pliers/wire strippers sit in trays and on a rack I made when I was bored. The black box holds my tap and die sets, drill bits, my drill/air tools and the like. The stack on organizer and gray box are my parts boxes that hold fuses, bolts, timeserts, coil packs, pack boots, spark plugs ect. The parts organizer holds loctite, zip ties, pens markers notepad to take notes, small tools and what not. My impact wrench, HF light, parts organizers ect hang/hook off the side of the box.
Everything is lined with pieces of yoga mat in my favorite color, extreme green.
It's not the best, definitely not big, but works for me for now and even when I move to a bigger box, I'll still utilize this. Sorry for the long post too!
Hey Duratec, welcome to the forum. I notice you are in central florida. I am heading to Orlando on vacation next month do you have any tips on good tools stores in the area as i would like to bring back some proper USA made 'souvenirs' .
Here's my offering. It was a Father's Day present last year. I've put all of my US made Craftsman stuff in it to start, then starting adding better stuff as I've found deals. The plan is to add more sockets and wrenches, next. I plan on adding drawer photos eventually, but I'm already contemplating changing the layout a bit lol.
Nice box Woody i have been looking at that same box for my shop.
Hey, thanks for the welcome. Definitely make a stop in Harbor Freight tools, their new Icon line of hand tools is great, I have quite a few things from there and if you pull up the coupons on your browser, they always have 20% off and free items like led work lights, parts bowls, screwdrivers ect. Napa is another favorite with their line of Carlyle tools.

Thanks! I feel it was a good deal. For my purpose, having the work bench top and the pegboard is certainly a plus. I wish the drawer layout was just a little different, but that's probably more my fault with how I have the box organized.

I like the ultimate wrench stored in the drawer![]()

Nice setup. Do you like the black oxide Proto wrenches? I have some SK and Allen brand in black oxide.

It was on Facebook for one hour. I messaged him asking for his address and I also asked "$150?". Thinking it could of been a typo or something. Welp, he replied "yup, 150."That seems too good to be true.
I know right? I couldn't believe it when he told me it was 150 bucks. He said he bought it new back in the day and everything. Are you friggin kidding me? You ****!

While we were loading it up I think he was regretting it.
