Sterff the coating on the wrenches is what is called plasti coat which the company has done. Klein, diamond, diamalloy, truecraft, malco, fuller, and channel lock just to name a few of the brands that I have.:bounce:

Those are nice. I may have to check those out :bounce:

Picked up the main top & bottom from the guy a couple of weeks ago & today he sold me the side. Great old box. Seems to be same quality as a SO.

FordBroncoDave gave me some cool info on it, thx Dave.

Anyone care to beat that adjustable wrench collection ^^??

I'm not sure I could beat him in numbers (maybe, I do have some at the other garage) but I bet I could beat him in weight (although three wrenches (2 auto wrenches and the Vaco) in the picture might be questionable as adjustable wrenches).

absolute best toolboxes for the money they cost hands down! not much different between these and a KRA, slightly different drawer configuration.

Heres my tool box. Its an old map/plan drawer. It weighs a ton now. ;)

DSCN2899.JPG

The problem I have is its so deep that I have to stand to the side to reach to the very back. I'm guessing its not a big deal when you have full size blue prints in it.

I was just in the local county courthouse office & the secratary pulled some survey maps from a cabnet similar to yours. My immediate thought was "toolbox". Looks like the same sturdy built old steel desk I'm setting at from the 50s. Got mine for $17 at a farm auction. Weighs a ton. Whadya give for you're box?

Ok, I'm gonna risk posting here, even if I don't have any Snap On....

First of all, my garage an toolbox are way to small, but hey, I'm just trying to make some extra money doing something i like doing.... :bounce:
I feel like a guy on a bicycle pedaling to a hells angels meet... :lol_hitti

Look, I even cleaned up for you guys:
Hazet workbench 179W

First draw, all very important stuff (I need more boxes...):

2th drawer, Hazet 1/4 en 1/2 ratchet. Some special sockets, a rail of 12point from Laser (turns out to be total **** that).

3th drawer, Hazet open end wrenches and half and half (600N ), in the plastic a set of Ribe cv sockets from Force, and the other end torx wrenches also from Force:

4th drawer, Files from Nicholson, and a set of Hazet standard screwdrivers.

5th drawer, Hazet pliers set, Usag rivet pliers, and 2 sets of boxed offset wrenches (Force).

6th drawer, socket thing-a-ma-jigs (Force), Allen keys (Hoffmann premium brand Garant), 3/8 socket set from Force, and a set of E-torx screwdrivers (Force).

Last drawer, 2 x Hazet hammer sets.

CIMG3688.jpg

And this is all the very important **** I had to remove from the last drawer, so I could show you the hammer sets. :lol_hitti :

This is my favorite tool at the moment: Hazet 916Lg 1/2 ratchet.

A very nice tool to work with. Very sturdy, no tolerance or free play what so ever. Nice heavy feel. Sadly enough, I'm only alowed to apply 600Nm to it :lol_hitti

I wish Hazet tools were more accessible here in Canada. Nice tools, by the way.

Nothing impressive, but most of it was purchased while I was in high school working at a shop. I have tried to purchase mostly name-brand U.S. made stuff, but some HF tools have snuck into the box over time.

Boxes in a cheap bench, with a $60 laminate countertop from Lowes. I do relatively light work on my bench, so it works just fine. Still need to mount the vise, though.
