Really nice setup. How do you guys with those big boxes remember what's in each drawer? I'd be pulling out 2 or 3 before finding what I'm looking for.

Upgraded my home box
I just saw a pic of this model the other day and thought how perfect the drawer layout would be for my home garage. What model is it? My current box. It’s messy right now
Nice box... just wanted say that.....41” Proto 540. Lock is a little finicky but solid box. Want to get a top soon and really want the side cabinet as well
I figured I would post my work toolbox setup I have now since I added to it. I know everyone seems to enjoy looking at everyone's boxes and setup and discovering new organization and tips. I am in my 35th year as an Auto Tech, I have worked from dealerships to independent shops and even owned a shop once. Enjoy everyone's boxes and commentary. This is a great board for old pro's as well as new DIY guys and in between.

Ok just gotta ask. You Auto Techs that have been around a while, where do you keep those unique testing meters, tools, harness', etc, that come in those big plastic cases? All I see here is cool looking boxes. I know some dealers like Mercedes, and BMW lend special equipment to the techs, but most, I believe, make the techs buy their own. I know a guy that uses a 5-drawer file cabinet to store all the oversize stuff. Runs a piece of pipe through the drawer handles and a pad lock to lock the cabinet. Not very pretty but functional.
Haven't visited the thread in a while. I was lucky enough to come across a great deal on a box I never even dreamed of having. A friend of mine wanted to downsize and made me a too good to be true offer. So he ended up with my 68" epiq as a partial trade and I ended up with his 84" epiq with power drawer, stainless power top, hutch and side locker. Has the echo locks which I don't need but have a cool novelty factor. The color is candy apple red. It's already full but it's nice to have everything together instead of spread out.

The power tools inserts come with the box.Did the icon box come with the insert for the power tools or is that from another vendor?

Congrats, looks great. I sometimes look at my setup and wonder how the hell I ended up with all this toolbox/storage.![]()
Nice box. Get some photos after it's loaded up.
Looks like a great box! Bottom drawers are double slide I assume? I like the height of the top right drawer, wish some of the narrower drawers on my tool box had a little more height.
New box arrived late last week, Rollcabs.com CRX7230RC-250. It’s made by Extreme Tools for Rollcabs.com - 72” long, 30” deep. All slides are rated for 250lbs, except the double slide drawers which are rated for 500 lbs. I’m still moving tools into it, couldn’t be happier with it so far:
Yep, all the drawers that aren't "skinny" drawers have double slides on them. It's funny you mention that drawer, I'm still trying to find a good use for it. Right now I just put PPE in there, but it's such a waste of a drawer with double slides.Looks like a great box! Bottom drawers are double slide I assume? Haha, thanks! I also have never said this, but, sure, I'll post some pics of my drawers later todayI DO NOT say this often... but...
You have pretty drawers...
Would also like to see pictures when there is a load in them there drawers.
Scaled back what was in my 5 drawer cart...got tired of lugging everything around our football field of a shop. Call it a preservation measure?![]()
CS454, who makes those yellow wrench racks you have? Are they painted metal or plastic?
Looking for something like that to clean up my box
Ernst! 15 tool gripper and 16 tool regular wrench racks are both available in the Hi-Viz. They're semi-rigid plastic, I'm quite a fan.
