Yes they are Lista and he got the tops from www.mcmaster.com and also www.griotsgarage.com you can see some more info and a few more pics here.

I would still like to see some pics of how you setup your tools in the cabinets if you have them :bounce:

I agree they look amazing and I like the built in look. I would also like to know where you got the tops and also do you have any pics of how you did the tool storage in each chest? Great work 66 Hertz!

Thanks, here are some photos I took when I put the first bench together and set up those drawers. I've added more tools and will move some things to the newer cabinets, still playing around with what is best where and it will take some time.

Drawers

Scroll down it is about halfway down the page. The good news for me is, I will have some empty dsrawer space, time to start looking for some voids to fill in my tool collection.

As someone posted, the cabinets are from Lista, the bench tops came from two different sources, McMaster Carr has the best one by far.

That set-up looks great. I like what you did with the handles...
Thanks. The handles look so much better than little ones they had on there, "almost makes the box not look cheap, lol." Plus the bigger handles function much better too.

For a cheap box, I love it, once you fill it up, you can keep adding on to it like a freight train.

It could all use a little improvement. But, when couldn't it?

It's not my first color choice, but, it was cheap! The tools are pretty basic, but I've done alot of jobs out of this box. Now, look in my drawers.

The big one.

Just one corner, I also have a set of the US General boxes from Harbor freight (40 inch with full length side cab) a Cornwell full drawer large cart and a bunch of small tool boxes from yards sales.

Just purchased another side locker. Didn't like the handles that came on them, so I used the extra handles from the roller and top chest. I think it looks a 1000X's better. Just need to get one more handle for the side of the locker "drilling also required."

mechanicnamedjohn

I bought a set of these a few years ago (just the roll cabs) to use on my shop as roll carts. I liked them so much that when I retired I sold the ones I had to one of my techs (worn pretty good and the finish is hard toi really keep clean) that I bought a new roll cab, top box and full length side cab. I want the other side now and love what you did with the extra handles. Best bang for the buck in tool boxes ever. I paid 339 for the rollcab, 279 for the top and 199 for the side. The roll cab weighs 398 pounds. About 2 times the weight of a Craftsman box the same size. Very stable and strong boxes.

Congrats on the nice box. I love those 722's. They seem like the perfect size to hold a complete set of tools and easily move around the shop.

Nothing compared to everyone else, but i'm slowly getting there. I'm in the process of converting EVERYTHING to either Snap-On or USA made (Including the HF box).

Here goes...

HF Toolbox
IMG_2664.jpg

Top Drawer
Just about all Craftsman Sockets. I'm converting all ratchets to Snap-On.

IMG_2668.jpg

Wrenches
Craftsman, GearWrench, and Snap-on (GW's will be for sale soon)

Screwdrivers, Nutdrivers, and Precision Screwdrivers

Torx and Punches

IMG_2674.jpg

Pliers

IMG_2677.jpg

That's all the pics I have. I'm trying to get everything nice and clean! The other drawers are a MESS!!

It may not seem like a lot, but these tools completely rebuilt this 11hp GX340 Honda motor. Converting everything to Snap-On or USA made is more of a personal thing. Working on things with quality tools really makes a difference!

:+1: Hatchets are great; I have the Estwing and they have a lot of features built into them. Surprisingly, they do quite a few things other than driving a nail in. I prefer them over claw hammers.

ryannotbryan- I gotta ask.. whats up with all the ratchets. Ive gone through practically this whole thread and I'd have to say that my collection of tools would rank among the "Top 10 tool whores on GJ." (Not bragging... just my personal opinion). That being said EVEN I don't have that many ratchets... :lol_hitti
