is that a mini fridge with the glass door in the middle ???
Nice bench and shop! Tell us more about your Wilton. How did you get the steel to gleam so bright? I love how even and well fitting your jaws are, but why is one jaw so much thicker than the other? Maybe it’s just the angle of the picture? I have a Wilton I’m restoring.. and the jaws don’t fit as nicely as I’d like.
Agreed. Those are more impressive, but this is the "workbench" thread, not the Wally thread.
Yes siris that a mini fridge with the glass door in the middle ???
My two main benches get cleaned almost every day when I quit working.I'm beginning to wonder if some of you ever use your benches, or whether they are just a shrine to Ed Iskenderian.... Here's my mess....might not look like much but it serves me well. I also have an old metal desk that I use.

Awesome work on that Bullet. One of the nicest I’ve seen. The spindle, handle, horse shoe washer and end cap have been polished and chrome plated. I was sending parts off for plating for one of my car projects, so included these at the time. The vise castings were ground smooth and powder coated. The aluminum jaws were in the vise when I bought it, I just sanded them smooth and polished them. I do not know why the one jaw was made so thick. It was in the front when I bought it, but figured out that if I put it in the rear, the face was just proud of my side cabinets. So I am able to clamp long stock in the vise without interfering with the end cabinets. It wasn't all planned, but worked out well.
Couldn’t afford any tools huh?
Ahhh …. I think we need to see more of this garage !
