Got a new used workbench along with two storage cabinets. I sold my old setup to somewhat downsize.

Both tool cart and workbench are on casters. The workbench features Footmaster adjustable caster for versatility.

GRX - Great job.. that bench looks like it could support my entire car!
Thanks! That was the idea. Would not hesitate to load 5-tons on this bad boy. The bottom shelf is currently loaded up with tools and Pontiac iron. I can use a 2x4 as a lever to move the whole thing around if need be.

It's a work in progress! I still need to finish the cap on top of the half wall.

The first one I built in the basement for a gun cleaning area and the tool box is my workbench in the garage for right now.

Are you happy with the little husky boxes? I've been thinking about picking a couple of them up.

I have been happy with them! They are good for light weight items, screw drivers, wrenches, sanding disks, etc. I keep all my automotive sanding blocks, sand paper and respirators in them.

Here is mine. Its 16 feet long and 28" deep and 40" tall.

Framed up, its attached to the wall with a ledger board and then has front legs that are attached to the lower base/shelf. It has a doubled up 5/8" ply wood top.

Had 16g steel bent up at the local HVAC shop for it

I made doors for it and painted it all up

Two years later I'm finally getting around to finishing this bench... Can I get some opinions please? I just added leveling feet to the bench(not shown) and I'm going to float the chest on a 1/2 piece of plywood.

Should I paint the legs black, red, or leave them natural? What do you guys think?

Black or I think gray would look nice to match your cabinets on the left.

I would either put a coat of varnish on them or a coat of gray to match your cabinets to the left.

Gray was the right choice... Thanks for the idea, I would have done black or red.

That looks great although I'm biased to Red & Gray combo........

Thanks! I've gotten lucky to get some nice shelving and cabinets given to me... And they were all gray. So red and gray has kind of happened upon me. Guess it's good that I like it lol. I do plan on painting the brick on the bottom of the garage walls gray as well.

Kuddos Wildstyle. That is an impressive bench.
For mine, I ended up buying a 60" x 20" Gladiator bamboo bench because it fit exactly where I needed it to fit. And I'm not much of a carpenter. I thought the bench looked too nice to beat it up, so I bought so rubber runner-type material and covered the top. At least this way it may absorb some of the potential damage and last a little longer. Thought the rubber mat looked pretty good so I covered the top of my toolbox with it too.

Was going to build one, but then this one came up cheap on craigslist and brought it home. It's not pretty but it's a workhorse. The guy I bought it from bought it from an oilfield service company's shop when they were moving. Then I bought it from him when he was moving. It still has tape and sticker pieces I need to scrape off you can see on the front edge which are a legacy of its time at the oilfield company for some reason. Need to mount a vise on it. The other workbench to the side is a Seville Classic.

Is that a 3/4 or 1 hp block grinder? Nice heavy bench you have.
