my wife does metal sculpture, I do cars, as her skill sets improved so did the necessity for better equipment. I built this four foot by six foot fab table using 3/8 steel for the top, the rest was sourced from our "inventory"

I can move it around by jacking it up on one end with a tongue hitch on one end and castors on the other, electrical outlets on all four corners, two inch receivers to hold other tools (benders, vise etc) on three sides, a "rack" to hold grinders and one leg is adjustable because our floor is good but not perfectly level. My wife suggested adding a perforated metal shelf to store tooling...plus the dust just filters through. We've used it almost six years and the only change was to change one of the four outlets from a "two" plug to a "four" plug

I don't think we only used the mobility feature when we moved it into place.
