Generally if something says for "incandescent only" like that, it means it may have issues functioning with LED or CFL lights. Usually what happens is when it's "off", you may get a sporadic flicker of light every so often, and erratic behavior when its switched on, like flashing and intense flickering. The "triac" based circuits they use often have difficulty "firing" with low, or capacitive/inductive loads as LED and CFL lights often are. They require careful designing of the circuit to work properly.

Or it might just work fine. It's hard to know for sure.

LED has an electronic driver which is essentially the same as an electronic ballast.
