Posted a reply to a more general post in General but thought it would be better in Electrical - so I got a lift, 2019 Atlas PVL10, that I am going to install. I like the idea of a cut-off switch at the post - bought a Powertec paddle one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CL4YW7R3/?tag=atomicindus08-20
The specs are:

So I run 10 AWG wire to my ceiling already and plan to continue that to the power unit to the switch. I figure since others are running this on similar lifts, it is fine - but wanted to be sure. Since the switch is rated for 16A at 230V and the motor's full load amp (FLA) at 230 is 16.9 **technically** I am over with the motor but because the load is not continuous - 52-58 seconds that makes it fine? Is my logic accurate or do I need to find another switch?
Thanks!
The specs are:
