On Friday I had a Direct Lift Pro 9D lift installed. The lift was installed and purchased through a Benco Equipnment, they are a local distributor for Direct Lift. The sales guys and the MN warehouse manager were really helpful. The manager for the MN warehouse responded to my questions via email within an hour of sending them, all during non business hours.
The installation technicians had a lot of the lift pre-assembled before coming over to install which made the time on my clock very minimal, which was nice. They marked center of the bay and asked me exactly where I wanted it placed. They helped me decided most optimal placement and once I decided they went back to work.
They proceeded with the installation and were done pretty quickly. They made all the adjustments, bled the hydraulic fluid and cleaned up after themselves.
Although I could have installed it myself with the help of a few friends, I believe the cost of tool rental for a nice hammer drill, the cost of a nice carbide and transportation definitely made the $450 for there installation well worth it. I didn't even break a sweat watching them do the installation
