So I got my new hydraulic cylinder installed in my lift.
The bouncing and groaning seem to have completely stopped so looks like the real issue with the lift the whole time was the cylinder.
The problem I have now is... the lift both raises and lowers much faster than it did before.
So fast that it's kind of unsafe with a car on there.
There are two allen screws on the ram that I'm THINKING are adjustment screws but not sure.
If anyone has an idea of how to adjust this speed I'm all ears. Otherwise I'll just have to wait until tomorrow for Bendpak to be open and hope that I get some kind of answer.
