Do any of you guy's know how I can jump the wires to NOT install those stupid "eyes" and have the door work properly. I'm adding another opener and with my other 2 I just have the eyes pointing at each other up at the ceiling level. I'd like to not do this with the new unit and will do the some with the other 2. At the time of installation with the first 2, I had a fit just setting the limits and such that I figured that the eyes should be set up as intended, just never got around to playing with them again.
By the way, this is how I found this forum, (researching the 3900) and I am glad I did!
Also, the antenna is a skimpy 6" wire that does not perform well with (I am guessing) with the steel siding on the exterior walls. Is there a simple, non electronics skills fix to this issue? Thanks.
