LiftMaster LED Bulb Compatibility
I have the LM3800, predecessor to the LM8500 and have interference problems from wifi security webcam to LED bulbs causing the door remote to not open the door and the remote light not turning on/off.
i would ask liftmaster, not manuel...

Don't UL listed products had to conform with RF/EM interference emissions standards? Is Liftmaster saying that even LED bulbs that meet those standards cause remote interference? If so, I'd say their receiver electronics are sub-standard.

Look for a statement saying that the bulb meets FCC part 15 standards. Should read something like this :
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC
Rules. Operation is subject to the following
two conditions: (1) This device may not
cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received,
including interference that may cause undesired operation.
That is exactly what I was thinking of when I said the door opener is not required to block/reject RFI...
Thanks!

Feit states their bulbs are "UL Listed", but I can't find anything anywhere as to WHAT UL Listing they have. That's not surprising, considering how crappy their stuff generally is.

Maybe, but it's bad design not to consider interference in a world that is awash in interference sources. Frequency hopping is not hard to implement but I haven't looked at how much spectrum is available in the garage door opener operating range.
