Lightbar brackets for 3" tube

Anyone have any ideas on what I can use for some tube brackets to mount a led light bar on 3" dia tubing ,,, here's a few pics of what's out there allready,,but they r between 60-80 bucks a pair.....Any ideas guys?

Exhaust tubing clamp. $5 or less. Or step up to stainless steel ones for more. Cheap, simple, easy to work with and you can use the studs for mounting to.

Get some 3.250 OD .120 wall, cut a .100 slot lengthwise in a piece about 2 inches long, and weld some tabs on for a bolt closure. Make a hinge if needed for installation. Add a tab for your light bar. Now make another. Powder coat and *bling* you're done.

Hmm. Makes $60 seem like a good deal.

does the clamp need to be removable from the tubing? if not, why not just find some axle tabs, most are made to fit 3" axles and only cost a couple dollars. just need to weld them in, could probably even use an epoxy or something since its only supporting a light bar.

Make some than the $60-80 seems cheap. You can use a 3" clamp collar and tap a mounting hole in it. I've done that for 1-3/4" tube.

Epoxy? Are you serious? I'm not trusting my light bar to epoxied on brackets.

Muffler clamp. I modified a pair to work as a camera mount on the roll bar in my race car. I used a rubber sewer coupling for a cushion between the bar and the clamp and it works like a champ. I also mounted a panoramic rearview mirror to the halo bar of the roll cage by using a pair of muffler clamps and welding on a couple of tabs. If you can weld, it will be easy-peasy to make what you want.

Lol, Are you serious? Current Industrial and commercial grade epoxies and adhesives are used to support a hell of a lot more than something as lightweight as an offroad lightbar. But what do i know, i just work for a tensile strength testing manufacture

Yeah because everyone gas access to industrial grade epoxy. When you say epoxy most people think of jb weld.

Bit agricultural but you could bolt a flat to the tube and bolt the light bar to the flat.

How pretty do you want it lol Stainless hose clamp to fit around the 3" tube and a piece of aluminum or stainless flat stock few inches long with a hole for mounting the light and bent 90° to go under the hose clamp. Hell lot cheaper and it works. To make it better take the part that goes under the hose and pound a radius to fit the tube.
