I had the kind folks at Harris send me an invoice, just took a call and they were able to send it immediately using an ebay order #. I used that invoice number. Everything went fine with the rebate paperwork and I got an email approval a few days ago to claim my Visa gift card. The email did go to spam so keep an eye out.

Thanks! If I run into any issues I'll be sure to give them a call.

Submitted to Lincoln Oct 3, received an approval from Lincoln the same day. Received e-mail to claim rebate on Oct 17. That email came from 'Online Rewards'. Card shipped Oct 20 but have not yet received it.

Oh sorry, I thought the Lincoln promotion expired the 31st. Might be another potential 10% cash back on ebay down the road. I am going to order mines today though to be on the safe side.

Where exactly are you "seeing" the promotion? I don't see anything on my account :/

I think you have to be signed up to receive promotional messages. Its also not a flat %, they vary it based on how many promos you use. For me its 6-8%.

I definitely don't see it on my home page. Guess I'm not so lucky.

You would have to buy the spool gun kit, you'll get the same $433 rebate but the Al One Pak is the normal price of ~$241 on top of the $999.

Can anyone recommend a nice or good quality cart?

That's about as nice of carts as you're going to find. Plus you get to practice your TIG welding when you buy one!

But then I can do Aluminum as well? Sorry I am a novice and I want to buy the best the first time. This seems like a great deal.

Yes, if you have a spool gun as linked below you'll be able to MIG weld (wire feed) Aluminum. This machine won't TIG weld Aluminum easily since it's DC only.

Ordered mine last Friday evening from Harris Calorific (aka Torchking). I was able to use the eBay $100 coupon applied directly to the order for a grand total of $899 (after rebate).

Received notification from UPS it's coming today. Can't wait to get this thing! Hoping it's as good as the Miller 215. At least for the price difference of $366, it should be worth the minor differences.

I ordered from the same vendor with the same deal. Only difference was they shipped it freight - required to be on site and ready to offload from the semi they sent.

Yep, came in a freight truck on a 2' X 2' pallet. I lifted it out of the truck by myself. It came directly from Lincoln Electric so they may use a freight company depending on where it is shipped.

Alright, I'm about to pull the trigger on this. Question in case anyone knows. I have a friend who works for Airgas, so he sells this stuff. Any idea if I can still get a rebate if I get any sort of special pricing? I didn't see on the form anything about that, but not sure. Long shot that anyone would know, but thought I'd ask.

May also have a 120V one for sale soon.....

Shouldn't matter. I mean, the ebay route was technically "special pricing" with the $100 off and I still got the full rebate.

I haven't really read much on the HF welding helmet- I'm curious what you think. I think I'm getting a helmet for my dad for Christmas from my local welding store. They have Weldcote brand that Lincoln bought and they stock replacement lenses, etc for. Parts availability would be my concern for the HF one.
The class at the community college isn't a bad idea. The best way to learn is lots of scrap to run run run beads of as many different kinds, orientations, materials, and wires as you can. It knocks down the learning curve and timeline significantly when you can talk to or call somebody when you are getting a weird condition you can't seem to fix.

EDIT: Got distracted and forgot why I was replying. The Vulcan cart is an awesome option if you have the room. I got a very similar one from Fastenal's house brand and love having the enclosed storage.

I plan on a better Lincoln helmet, jacket and gloves, but this will work for now... my father gave me scrap metal and a few arc rods to practice with for now. The extension cord will be in today. The Vulcan will allow me to store everything and protect the helmet as well.. i need to pick up a bottle... waiting for hf to have a 20-25% code i can use on the cart. I need one with no restrictions... also the band saw will go on the cart without the legs.
