So, I currently am in college and was part of a Clean Snowmobile Team that competed in Houghton Mi in March of this year, we brought a Polaris FST Chassis powered by a Kubota Diesel, that's another thread. The SAE shop at our school has several Lista cabinets that I assume were donated by a department or were part of the overstock auction the University has. We brought one of these cabinets with loaded with all the tools we need to do just about anything to the sled.
So we get to MI after a late night of driving due to leaving almost 8 hours later then planned, a fire on the sled and bad starter on the Suburban we were using made for a great day. Get to the competition on Monday morning, unload the trailer, getting the last touchs on the sled taken care before the tech inspections, and all of a sudden the toolbox won't open. Now we are up a creek cause we can't get the tool out, about the only tools we had out of the box were the drill and some drill bits. One guy wanted to just drill out the lock, I wasn't sure that would work, I wanted to give Lista a call and see what they said.
So I found the number on the Lista's site, and gave them a call and spoke with Shannon, she identified the box by the description I gave and the likely issue. Said she would send over directions to open in via email. I waited about 20 minutes and got nothing. At this point I figured I would call again, and see what the issue was, spoke with Heather, equally as nice as Shannon. Told her the issue I was having and that I had spoke with someone already. She took down my info, and 2 minutes later I had direction to get the box open. Got the box open in about 10 minutes of fiddling with it. We got to tech on time, and passed without an issue. Shannon has just got one of the letter wrong in the email addy(I had poor phone reception so that could have been the issue).
So big thanks to Lista's Customer service people.
