Greetings from a cold Denmark (and sorry if my english is not easy to understand)
After many years of reading GJ as anonymous, I finally pulled myself together to create a thread about my little amateur garage ("Amateur" because it does not measure up to many of the great builds that are on here... But it is built 100% by myself, to make room for some of the cars that are so close to my heart).
I have had various old cars (mostly Italian ), but they have almost all been kept at the company, as I have only had space for one a home.
But after getting a set of twins, and refreshing the old house, it was finally time for the garage project and the work began in the spring of 2013.
The building's shape and the way it is built up to the old garage, looks probably a bit strange in the eyes of many, but the building level as well as some special regulations in Denmark meant, that I was forced to think creatively... The garage extension is therefore built on the 30-year old carport "foundation", and then put together with the old garage. (But it works really well given the sloping wall along the boundary, together with the outer wall of the old part of the garage, creating a perfect workshop/spare parts facility).
Below are some pictures from the project, and up to this summer... The garage is still not finished (is a garage ever finished?), but I will post more pictures as it approaches the target: A new garage for the old cars and wich therefore looks old!

I customized the old door so it also kept the old look... Today it is proper white!
And here are 3 of the permanent residents:
Here the GTV and the GTV6 is seen side by side, while the Spider can be seen in the back of the old garage... The old Formula 4 can be glimpsed to the right, but today it hangs in the ceiling above the Spider:
And here is the only new picture for now... Taken from the terrace in the evening, so you can see why I can sit in the living room and smile, though both the wife and the kids are shouting
