I picked up a nice KRA63A chest off CL this weekend.

I will use this box in my basement to help organize some tools. This box replaces a few smaller boxes. It has a flip up pegboard which I have a few items mounted to. The pegboard folds under the top cover. I have some socket sets on the top shelf and others tools in the drawers. I have a new lock on order from SO. I am really happy with this box, it's a keeper.

Good point on the screw drivers, will do. But the VW will stay on the box. It's from my first car, a 1967 Bug. I wish my first car was a Mustang, the Bug was all I could afford back then.

Can you share some info on that impact driver in the blue metal box? I remember my dad having one when I was a kid.

It's a Ludell model #2500, purchased in the 1980's. I think I used it once, no manufacturing country on the tool. My guess is a Twain tool.............

Very nice stuff!! It looks like you have a nice work space there as well.

It was very cruel of you to post that pic of all those beautiful green boxes with their lids closed! Could you post some pics of those socket sets for us SK fans?

I believe you are correct. I have K-Tool in that same blue box that is stamped Taiwan. I have also seen a lot of other impact drivers in that same blue box sold under various names, but all from Taiwan. I don't know who makes them, but they've sold lots of them. I'm happy with mine BTW.

Mine's branded as a Buffalo, and is marked Taiwan. Haven't seen the one in your case but I'd bet they're about identical...

Mine look the same as yours, just a different name on the case. I think it's a quality tool compared to the China stuff made today.

Great toolbox at an excellent price. I hope to find a deal like this someday. Congrats!
