Does someone make a long pattern flare wrench? I know its a long shot, but I have a power steering box that I can't break one of the lines loose....

If you've got the room, an impact socket attached to a 3/8 impact will take it off super quick. Of course, I've cut more than a few lines off with an air saw and turned the core in as is.
I don't think any company offers a long pattern line wrench other than those Granco models I've only seen in SAE. I think the manufacturers are trying to protect us from ourselves. Imagine the damaged and twisted fittings that would result from a long line wrench?![]()

One, Im not that big so I need all the mechanical help I can get...
Two, the box isn't bad, Im just swapping in a different engine and PS pump that will require custom lines.
Three, this particular fitting is SAE...

Crowfoot flare nut and a 24" breaker bar.
I tried that and my CMAN line wrench literally just opened up and ended up stuck on the fitting.
from what I have heard people prefer the snap on line wrenches over anything else.
Then you're in luck, the Granco set supplied to the government will meet your needs nicely. Now you just have to wait for a set to show up on Ebay...![]()
