Longest i have are the extra long Toptuls, they're very good.

Do you have a lift to work with? If not then i would stay away from extra long combo spanners, you just don't have the room to use them lying on your back with the car on jackstands.

Snap-on standard length are probably the longest i would recommend.

If you want a long combination wrench, then my first thought was the extra long Hazet (600LG) as well. Looking at the figures, it is, at 305mm for a 17mm, but that’s only 7mm more than a Snap On.

Good advice from the other guys though. There are going to be many situations when you just can’t use these!

^^Ditto, with no room to throw some tools just won't work

Mac & Armstrong used have an x-tra long wrench (Mac might still have them). I think the 9/16 was 10 or 11 inches long....

The Toptul 19mm combination wrench measures 348 mm = 13.7"

The Hazet 19mm is 335mm = 13.2"

I only checked a couple, looking more the Hazets are longer 13mm and smaller, the bigger ones Toptul are longer, but the Hazets are made in common sizes up to 32mm, Toptul only does to 19mm.
The hazet 10mm is 20mm longer than the Toptul.

I got some double box end ratcheting wrenches made by Mako (actually Kabo) that are XL. The 1/4" is 210mm (8.25") & the 3/4" is 400mm (15.75"). But these ain't combo style with an open end.

I have a 3pc Cornwell set of combos sitting around. They're marked -L, the 1/2 is 9" long and the 5/8 is 10 3/8" long with the 9/16 right between them. If they have a -L gotta believe they have a -XL somewhere.

If I can add an additional qualifier:

Who makes extra-long in both SAE and metric?

The 600LG from Hazet look nice, but they appear to be metric, only.

Chalk up some more regret at not jumping on some Armstrong stuff sooner. :(

All I need is metric. I have more SAE sockets than I want to think about.

All the truck brands do. I wouldn't recommend Matco's version though.
