Ask your dental hygienist. These tools are typically owned and maintained by the hygienist. They may only be sharpened so many times so become useless for their intended purpose after a (long) while.
The real deal ones are top quality.

I have a set of dental type picks but I'll have to look at the package and see what brand they are. They came in a machinist tool box and everything in there was high quality.

For regular picks, I'm really impressed with the Channellock's I just bought. Less than $20 on Amazon and made in the USA. I've been using the cheap ones sold at Harbor Freight and parts house. The CL are a lot stronger and the tips are crazy sharp. Well worth the money over the cheap ones.

Look at the Caseling store on Amazon.

You can find a case for anything.

I bought a set of real ones made by Hu-Friedy they are not cheap, but are way better than anything else I’ve tried. I find they are one of my most used tools. Just wish I would have bought the legit ones sooner as I waisted a ton of $$ replacing sets over and over again. The real ones have way stronger tips and actually have a cutting edge ground into them. For a general purpose pick set I like my Snapon ones. I also have a large selection of brass ones specifically for use with O-Rings.

I'd have to say after seeing some Snappy pics being used on Youtube when others bent I'd be willing to pay their price.

Nice!
Good chance that we made the handles for your Hu-Friedy's. We don't make them all, but we do make a lot. If the handles are solid stainless or hollow octagon shaped, we probably made it.
The ends, they make in their own machine shop.

The quality of legit dental tools is excellent.

Harry Epstein sells (or sold) retired dental picks, quite cheap.
