I had a woman make me 2 from old blue jeans with some Velcro closures for a set of SAE and METRIC gear wrench's and another set for Craftsman small ignition wrenches. Very rugged and cheap maybe $10.00 for the both it is an option if you know a seamstress.

Leather or canvas would be the bee's knees for a tool roll. If the OP doesn't want to make his own, I'd suggest giving HJE a look. I recall they had a few varieties available.
Very cool!TYm, what is HJE . I have made a few toolrolls out of the waxed canvas and they work and look great. The waxed canvas is getting harder to find in cotton /wax blend. I did a interior on my 1934 ford truck in a brown wax canvas and leather . It was comfortable and looked great.
I wipped up a leather stitching horse to play with hand stitching , went a bit overboard and made it like one of my bomber seat I make lol
Holy ****! That's insanely cool.

HJE is Harry Junior Epstein. ( I think). It's a supplier of all kinds of tools that some Garage journal members have fallen in love with. It beats Amazon. I'm not an Amazon fan.
