I had a woman make me 2 from old blue jeans with some Velcro closures for a set of SAE and METRIC gear wrench's and another set for Craftsman small ignition wrenches. Very rugged and cheap maybe $10.00 for the both it is an option if you know a seamstress.

Yep, wide-load jeans from a thrift shop provide plenty of material for several. I've made a few. And sew 'em yourself! You can figure out how to run a sewing machine - it ain't rocket science!

We use DIRT BAGZ in the race trucks....doesn't get much more heavy duty than that. (They make bags and rolls and etc)

I use these tool rolls by Rugged Tools (Amazon I think?). I looked in to several of the other items mentioned here (Carhardt, Bucket Boss, etc.) when I bought them but I wanted the socket pockets for my particular application. I'd like to make some custom as well. Maybe I'll get some leather and warm up the old Pfaff. I've got some T135 Linhynal bonded nylon thread that would be perfect for some leather or heavy canvas.

Leather or canvas would be the bee's knees for a tool roll. If the OP doesn't want to make his own, I'd suggest giving HJE a look. I recall they had a few varieties available.

That a great sewing machine and have a walking foot pfaff and a consew single stitch .I am also working on a singer 112 and its not going just yet.

TYm, what is HJE . I have made a few toolrolls out of the waxed canvas and they work and look great. The waxed canvas is getting harder to find in cotton /wax blend. I did a interior on my 1934 ford truck in a brown wax canvas and leather . It was comfortable and looked great.
I wipped up a leather stitching horse to play with hand stitching , went a bit overboard and made it like one of my bomber seat I make lol

Good eye it is delrin and use it in fixtures as its stable and firm but with teflon surface

I bought the small Dickies roll and coated it with melted bees wax and linseed oil to make it oilcloth.
$12 and I’m happy with it.
