That stainless steel tool box looks tempting. I have always thought those Kobalt boxes were pretty nice.

I think the Maglites are always a good deal at Lowe's, I get those for $7 with Ace Hardware 50% off coupon.

is that dewalt 18v a good deal at $99? I'm just starting to look to replace my old hitachi with worn out ni-cad batteries...

Not unless its the XRP version. I doubt it is though. Look at Milwaukee one for $99 at the bottom of the HD add. Much better than Dewalt not XRP.

Haha, that just might be!

Generally, this entire BF is one huge disappointment, no matter which retailer you look at. I'll sit it out entirely this year, maybe get a few things online at most. Petsmart may have some decent deals on kitty litter and food, but that will be all for me.

Thus far I am completely unimpressed with Black Friday. Usually I can find at least a couple small deals I'm interested in but not a single one this year.

Looked through the Home Depot ad and saw the Dewalt sliding compound miter saw for $399. I have been looking at these for a lillte while, and this seems like a good price. Will have several projects coming up next year where the portability of a miter saw will be needed, so the timing is good, assuming this is a good price. Anybody have any feedback on this saw or the price?

If you click on the links on the home depot ad you can purchase at those prices right now. The add actually says through November 26th so I guess you can avoid the crowds and buy now?

It's Obama's fault you have to eat catfood too... Is there any way I can see the Lowes sale flyer without having to download a damned program ? Maybe I'll go to their website & see if I can find it.

You don't have to download any program, just have to have adobe reader installed. Just click on the link and select download. It's safe, I can see that over 200 people have done it.

Thanks for posting!!

The only thing that catches my eye is the Werner work platform. It's a good deal but I bought one last time.

As did I. Great platform. Wasn't it $12 tho? $5 cheaper last year. I can't remember. I bought the Werner step ladder also.

This year im looking at that Werner MT22 multi function ladder from HD for $129 GREAT price and I need one too.

If I remember correctly, both the 6ft ladder and platform were both $20

The platform is pretty handy, but a bit dangerous. It uses a active lock that you must engage instead of the folding strut with built in lock design. As long as you remember to keep it locked it's all good. If not, it will be a fun ride, because it will stand up without it. I can see that becoming an issue at some point for Werner. Plus it's only a cheap piece of stamped metal on one side. If I remember right, it only has a 225lb load capacity...

I just looked up 2011 ads. You are correct.

So they are indeed $3 cheaper this year. Its under a different brand name, but looks exactly like the Werner.

It's a different brand at Home Depot... the Lowes is Werner.

What do you mean "they"? The 6' ladder was NOT in the ad... do you know something I don't? :)

Ya youre right. The ladder isn't in there this year. I was just thinking of them both from last year as I bought both.

I really want to get that Werner MT22 ladder for $129 this year.

Is that Skil 10" table saw worth a look at $89?

I have to assume no! I got a B&D $99 special a couple years back and it's a total *************. The rip gauge is off so bad it isn't even functional, the fence constantly kicks out of line, it miters at +/- 7 degrees and thanks to the cheap plastic construction it isn't even worth it's weight in scrap. The only thing it manages to do with any degree of precision is ruin your life. Losing a finger to this ************* would be like drowning in 1" of water. I raised enough hell about what a ************* it was that my dad gave me his Dewalt. Spare yourself the pain and anguish and forget you ever saw this ******* child of Robert Bosch's retarded 3rd cousin.

Lowes ad re-hosted for easier use: https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B6EnM6CtQu0YaUNvQmJzZzJUWWc

Home Depot ad re-hosted because the link on page 1 is dead: https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B6EnM6CtQu0YTkZqWlVyMUNqU00

NOT TRUE lithdoc! I'm not a member of Rapidshare so I can download the file but can't read it even after updating Adobe Acrobat to latest version. Some of us would rather right-click to download. It kinda pisses me off because I was trying not to update Adobe. I have my own reasons. :argue:

Thanks for posting the link Burton.
