The local Lowe's have tons of these in every store along with the triple cuts. I wonder if they will discount them that much or just raise the price and leave them on the shelves for black friday!:lol_hitti

How do you like it? The price is tempting, but I want something that will actually work well over just cheap....

Its works, I wouldn't use it at work. Its pretty bright though and I like how the battery has the 120v plug built into the bottom. Magnet holds good. I do dislike how to turn it off you have to press the on/off button two more times to cycle the lantern light and strobe function

If you hold the button in for about 2 seconds it will shut off as well. :)

If you missed out on the Bessey bar clamps, home depot has this 4 piece set for $19.99, which is cheaper per-clamp than Lowes clearance prices.

COO Germany? I snagged a few at Lowes, but I was late to the party and the corpses had been picked clean by the vultures. Would like to have a few more if they're not Chinese...

Guy at flea market was loaded down with bessey and kobalt socket holders. When I asked him how much he wanted for a 9 dollar hammer he said 30 bucks so im sure he had them marked up. Kept walking.

Just to let everyone know( if I already missed it here)

Lowes is starting to clearance out their tool boxes(changing vendors again)

Shopvacs are changing from blue/grey to red/black. Watch for clearance on them also.

I got one of the big shop-vac air movers. was $199, I got last one for $26

I noticed they don't have that massive stainless steel ( looking ) tool box at my Lowes any more. The one with the built in CD player. Seemed like a nice box but too much $ for my blood

COO is China unfortunately, this is new stock. I have yet to find any Germany made stuff at Lowes either.

At least two of our local Lowes were clearancing out some the Gladiator garage stuff from what I can tell....but I think I was too late as they already had some of the displays pulled down and some cheapo Black and decker Particle board cabinets on display. One out of the three stores still has Gladiator stuff at regular price, so who knows?

The fan coming in under 'bathroom vanities' makes sense compared to how it showed up for me:
Home:Electrical:Wall Plates:Shop-Vac 3-Speed Air Mover Fan

It's not on sale at any store around San Jose.

My Lowes has already sold out of all the Bessey clamps, but they had the vises marked way down. I picked up a Bessey drill press vise for $5.60. COO of China, but its cheap enough to try!

I usually call out people like that and loud enough for others to hear, then walk away. I can see if the guy wants to make a few bucks, but wow...

Meh, let him be.

Dude makes a living by flipping hand tools, I'd rather he'd make a little cash than have him break into my house looking to steal.

Shop vacs have new colors here but old ones are same price just moved to front of shelve.

The air movers are still 199.00 store Mgr has no knowledge of them being moved out or discounted. This is what I needed too.

I've been watching the Bessey stuff at my local Lowe's because of this thread. They've got mostly Irwin stuff in place now but still some of the Bessey stuff on the bottom shelf. It is all marked as clearance but it's only been about 10%-25% off, not worth grabbing unless I really needed it. Saturday I noticed that all the vices were gone but a lot of wood clamps, c-clamps and the plastic clamps are still there but still not a great price. I've noticed over the last few months that the Middletown store doesn't seem to have the true clearance prices that you guys find. It seems to me that they must ship their clearance items to another store. They never had the tool carts, or maybe I was just too late. I really wanted to get in on the IR air tools but either they just pulled them and shipped them somewhere else or I completely missed the real sale - one day they were about 10% off then a couple days later it was all Kobalt stuff.

Same here. Went and checked because of this thread. Don't "need" one but would like one for sure. Anyone else came across them cheap?

Smoking deal on that. I have 2 already and would buy a 3rd at that price if there were any near me.

Found one big pile of unpriced Hillman bags sitting in the automotive aisle between truck tool boxes.

13 packages, each containing ten 1/4" fine thread machine screws (1.25" long) and ten nuts to fit them.

I remembered reading about bags of Hillman hardware going on super-duper clearance, so I took them to the register and it came out to $1.69 for the whole pile. 130 machine screws and 130 nuts of a useful size. I sure wish I could find more stuff like that.

I've found that you should go to the store and pickup the really highly discounted items yourself. Otherwise, you just become the deal hunters for the employees, who will cancel your order and buy it for themselves to flip on eBay or Craigslist.
