I need the actual coupon, I have gift cards to use at home depot. We just got harbor freight locally, so I am going to try and use one. I also signed up for the moving coupon, but it doesn't seem like anything happened.

Do they still have moving coupons at the post office?

The PO has packets that contain various "moving" deals. You have to log on to Lowes.com, enter a special code and they will email you a printable 10% printable coupon. Usually within 2 days.. Grab a few of the packets at the PO. As long as you have more than one email address, you can enter more than one coupon code.

Hope this helps.

Local Lowe's had a whole shelf full of clearance items with an additional 50% off. There were quite a few of the twisted combination wrenches for next to nothing. I don't like those wrenches so I let them go. I did get several packages of square drive bits for $0.90 for eight. Most everything else was gone.

Local store had the max access wrench set for 4.58
Anyone use these are they any good. For 10.00 you could have 14 wrenches, mm and st. Store also had service cart for 70.00 trying to think of a reason to buy

Box ends that fit everything really fit nothing. If you're dealing with a bunch of low-torque stuff, you'll be fine...but if you're silly enough to treat them like real wrenches, you're going to see some rounded off fasteners.

That's why they've been trying to clearance them out for over a year now.

The 4pc tune up kit here is showing new low price of 17.97. THe ratchet is 29.97 by itself. I need a long 3/8 ratchet but not sure if I should spend the money on something better quality? I don't want to spend 18 bucks for a ratchet then spend 50 or 60 for the same thing

It's a good ratchet. Remember to lube it; they ship dry.

Decided to hit up my local Lowes again just to see what they had. Got the lighted 3/8th's Kobalt ratchet for just under $5 bux, A 24 piece Kobalt tool set for $12, and a metric allen wrench kit on a key chain for like $1.30.

Generally my local store is pretty useless for there clearence. This is by far the best trip ive ever had there for sales. The Chicago land Lowes locations usually are MUCH better.

Unless I'm doing something wrong, this doesn't even appear on their website any longer. :(

The Lenox hole saw bits were a Black Friday special so they probably over ordered on them. I got a set then. Can't recall price but was heck of good deal. Just being able to keep up with them by keeping in a case is nice.

Metric is 338608. SAE is 338607. The only ones anywhere close to me are the standard and they are $24.97. The stores that don't have them show online prices of $8.97 to $11.97. Why Lowe's has such wacky pricing is beyond me :dunno:

Picked up a couple extra 1/2" socket trays real cheap @Lowes and tested one tray for pliers. What do you think?

Very creative. Cool key fob, is that home made or is it sold in store?

I've never seen one. Googling Craftsman key chains doesn't show anything like that, either.

If that's a custom job, a fellow could definitely make a few bucks on this forum selling them.

Glad I bought 3 Craftsman key chains several years ago for only a buck or two. They are unique, hard to find and one of my favorites especially since CM screwdrivers perform well and are still US made

Repost because it got buried:

Kobalt 39-in 2-Drawer Utility Cart
Item #: 460636

I can vouch for it being ok quality.

It shows at $71.60 until April 07.

If you want a big, thick service cart...get the $160 Harbor Freight dealio. If you want a normal, smaller one that's pretty decent, you'd better not miss this deal.

I really like the flip up side tables, drawer liners, and color of this cart. If you don't need more storage space, I think this is a great option and fairly comparable in quality to HF carts. I've played with it several times in store. I haven't been able to justify buying it, but there's only one left in stock at a nearby store, so I think I just might...

I bought a 13, 15, and 17mm crossforce for $11.** for my common oil change sizes.

Got the extreme access metric set for $4.44. Figured they would would be good for a moving day tool kit.
