I thinking of picking one of these up. What is the review on this? Is it worth it at this price?

$2.20 a pack at a store close to me, ordered 4 of the 7 they show in stock. Let's see how long this takes to get cancelled. My luck isn't so great with this stuff lately.

Saugus, MA, for anyone in the Boston area interested.

You may have given yourself a better chance by just going into the store and getting them yourself. Many items get myseriously cancelled when others get involved first.

Offaxis,
That is a good price, but keep in mind that the power switch tend to **** and stop working after awhile. I had to replace the switch on mine after about a year of light use.

Tried both methods, not something I need really bad, so I'm not overly concerned if it does get cancelled. I did get the confirmation email already, and no call saying it's been cancelled, which has happened quickly when there was no stock in the past.

26 and change at one store 49 at the other a few miles apart. Might swing by a grab one tonight. The one for 26 also offers a 2 year no hassle replacement for an extra 7 bucks. How does that work on clearance items once they are sold out?

so true. I went today looking for the last remaining bottles of Dirty Jobs carpet cleaner, but no luck finding them. I did find two buried cases of All Purpose Cleaner at $.19 each though. :bounce:

just under 35 out the door with tax and the 2 year replacement add on for 6.95 at the lawnside NJ store, he put the last five left on the shelf after he brought ours out.. No saw zaw blades that I could find.

2 other stores near by have the shop vacs, over 20 in stock, one still over 40 other is at 75 lol.

I believe Fred works at Lowes so he has insider knowledge

For now that is correct.

Will be changing sometime between Oct 1 & Thanksgiving.

The 31pc listed above will probably half that in the next few weeks
Many of the tool side stacks will be going clearance to make room for the new thanksgiving stuff, so keep your eyes open:eyecrazy:

Coastal Georgia is about out of the Wiss stuff. Picked up the last five crimpers for $4.01 each with .mil discount a few days ago. The 30-degree notcher was still over $7 at the time; checked the website this morning and it was $1 but none available locally. Baton Rouge near Cortana Mall has a few at $2.25 each; if only I were still in the area.

I paid around $32 for a 3-drawer stainless chest a couple of months ago. South Savannah showed one still available so I told a buddy about it. He walked out the door with it for under $16 w/tax.

These deals have been discussed elsewhere in the thread and the items are mostly out of stock, so I won't bother trying to post links. Simply Google "wiss lowes" or "3-drawer lowes" and put in your zipcode on the site if you want to see what's left in your area.

I was at lowes a couple days ago and they have the Irwin vice grips on sale. I cant remember how much. Should have taken a picture. So does every lowes have a different price for their clearance items?

Anyway, I'm so tempted to get those Vice grips.

yes, every Lowes is different with how they handle clearance prices. That shop vac on the last page was 26.95 at my nearest store, two other stores within 10 miles have them priced at $49 and $75, each having over 20 in stock while the store I picked mine up from is sold out all ready.

Some times you can find stuff that's not even listed any more on the site, I also picked up a few Wiss snips they had listed as sold out. They where on the shelf for the past month with no yellow sticker though. Only knew they where clearance since I bought a pair a month ago and had to get them to pull it from the top of the rack.

I bought the last pair of Wiss big *** 14" shears and made in USA Wiss notching cutters for $6.83 each. I gave them to my fabricator friend (always a good idea to pay it forward to guys like that) and forgot to get part numbers. I went back yesterday and the rack spaces were taken up by Stanley tools.

Stumbled upon this in the electrical section a day ago, they had 4 or 5 left. I'll be turning it into an excellent LED worklight!

Nothing shows up...

Looks like my local Lowes cleared out all the window/portable ACs and replaced them with heaters. My dad picked up a 25,000 BTU Frigidaire, regular price $584 for $146, was the only one left.

Yea it's an excellent deal, I already took the sensor off and did the wiring; just need to find/make a stand, and it'll be an excellent work light.

The Danville IL store still had the 2 types of Wiss notchers and snips an hour ago. I don't live near there. They were marked clearance.

Works now. I have the same light in white above my garage, great price for that light I might look into getting another now.

Don't be fooled by the original price, Costco has had something similar for the past two years. Good price at $26, but it's not a huge bargain and you can pick it up any day for $30-ish (and also have a lifetime return policy).

I think the nearest Costco is about 1.5hrs, never been to one. But I must have been ripped then, like i said I have the same light on the eave of my garage, I paid the $79 "reduced price" for it about 6 months ago. Do you have a $30 listing for a similar light?
