They also had the same price in Spartanburg SC.

Those have been on clearence rack for two weeks for $190. I could buy them cheaper if I wanted them.They also have two rolling safe for $239.

I saw these at this price a long time ago. They don't seem to be selling or discounting much/fast.

Anyone ever try to get Pro Services to print out a markdown report? There was a reddit AMA a while back where an ex employee stated customers could request these. I copied the discussion below:

Markdown Report – This is the holy grail of finding deals at Lowes. Once a week (usually on Thursdays) the markdown report will go “live”. Most of the items start off discounted 25% off, but I’ve bought nice items (like a Dewalt power tool set for $56, cases of Gatorade for $.80) at 75% or even 90% off.

Here’s how to get it. Ask one of the persons at the commercial sales desk to print you off a copy (you might need to buddy/buddy them before hand). They might not even know what the report is or how to print it. Tell him to go to the main Genesis screen and do a 5.11.12. This should put them on the markdown screen. They then need to click on Level 4, level 5, active markdown – then select “all”. It will take a few minutes but the report will be in the print spool for the associate to print off. The report will come off per department and will show the last “regular” price and the new markdown price.

Your instructions to pull the Markdown Report seem complicated, which makes me think the sales desk isn't supposed to let this out to customers. Is that right?

Also, are the reduced prices ever listed on the shelves?

First of all Lowes still uses a DOS base system called Genesis - It's straight out of the 1980's. That's why it seems complicated. But on the Lowes Pro Sales "CBM - Commercial Business Management" page, it specifically states that Pro Sales is to use the report to help their customers find deals. Hence, get friendly with the Pro Sales people.

Hey guys, quick question for my fellow Lowes deal hunters. Do any of you use a Lowes credit card? I was thinking about signing up for one but when I read the fine print I see that it says the 5% discount when using the card does not apply when you use any coupons.

Am I reading this right? If I try to use a 10% off coupon on a purchase with the card, the 5% will not apply with that?

Yup, its arguably a bit evil.

While you can use another credit card with other benefits when using a coupon at Lowes, it definitely cuts down on the desirability of a Lowe's card. I avoid unneeded cards.

Thanks for the heads up! Most stores near me are still at $39.**, found one store for $20.**. The stores that are still at the higher price still have 100+ rolls left so hopefully they will drop soon as well.

Thanks guys. I ordered one online for $48 and picked it up today. I was amazed when I got the ready for pick up email as I figured one of the employees would cancel the order and keep it for themselves.
