I go to Lowe's often to check out the deals and found these aluminum 2 ton jacks and battery charges for a awesome clearance price. I called another store and they were different prices so YMMV. I bought most of them even though I really don't need them. Good luck peeps. Items were bought in League City TX.

are you kidding me?? i JUST bought that battery charger on clearance for $67 about two months ago.. all the stanley chargers are on clearance.. the charger is nice.. very simple to use.. diagnosed both my batteries in my old f350 that were dead as being bad, instead of just trying to charge them.. had them both replaced under warranty from sams club. good luck finding one.. you should have bought that one, i had to run around just to find mine for $67. it has a reconditioning feature for older batteries too..

These items don't show up on the lowes website. Guess I'll have to go to store to check it out

Just went looking for that jack...that wouldve been a great find. Bunch of Kobalt pliers are 50% off and a few Irwin's were marked down.

Yeah a store about an hour away has 1 left listed at $13. Probably worth it just for the ratchet. Then again I'm not going over there today and if I order online an employee will snag it so I guess it's all moot.

Does Lowes put their clearance items in a certain area or you just have to go walk around the isles hunting?

Thanks wizness.

Stopped by the local store and there was one on the shelf but no price. Checked out and it rang up at $13.40. Awesome deal. Thanks again.

What section are the chargers in?

There is a small automotive related section in ours and it's actually behind the hardware desk where they make duplicate key's. Only two shelves long and three high in this store so easy to miss if you didn't know it was there.

I got one of the chargers, all they had. No luck on the jack. Had an employee look up the part number and it would not come up. Looks like they are switching over to Torbin or something like that jacks per the employee, that's why the Kobalts are discounted.

They did have the item below discounted pretty heavily. It would be a nice addition for a small home shop. Don't confuse it with the KH837, that is $299. It must be the newer model but they look identical.

Me too. I call it yellow tag shopping. I have even infected my children with this sickness as they will alert me of clearance items I may have missed.

On those #11982 jacks, the front wheels are plastic and the rear one are small cheap ones. I would not use it on anything bigger than a small Toyota, Nissan & the like. Remember you get what you pay for....

Update on the $127 cutting torch. Lowes would not let me buy it because there is a recall for it. The recall consists of getting a new torch handle from Lincoln for free because it may leak. If you are able to buy one, contact Lincoln for a free replacement torch body but I doubt you will because of the no sell flag that pops up.

I'm not sure if it's been discussed or if every Lowes is different, but an employee there told me that they mark the things down on Tuesdays.

He is correct. The front and back wheels are plastic and the back wheels on the jack I opened in the store were very wobbly/ loose fitting. They also have the 3 ton steel version for the same price but I would want to replace all the wheels with steel wheels/ casters.
