The store I ordered the cutting pliers from was Aiken SC. Item 638073. My phone won't let me insert a link. Parcel shipping still shows available, store pickup unavailable. Price is.back up to 9.99. And yes I posted this in the home depot thread by accident originally. -Will

I was looking on HD's website for the pliers and found nothing. Then went back to your post and it was changed over to the Lowe's thread....:D No biggie. Thanks for the heads up and location. I'm in for 2 just ordered. Hope it all goes through.

Porter Cable 8 tool 20V set for $175 marked down from $399. The item number appears to no longer be on Lowes.com. I purchased the last set at the Framingham, MA Lowes early this afternoon.

I just called the Battle Creek, Mi store. They have one but want $499 for it. I even told them about the MA store and they didn't budge. Oh well. Hopefully someone else has better luck.

I just ordered the pliers from the Aiken SC store. $16.85 including tax/shipping. My local stores won't budge off the full retail price ($43.54 after tax) so I'm saving $26.69. Since I don't need this right away, I don't mind waiting the 1-5 shipping days.

No luck for me on the 8 tool Porter Cable kit. They had what I believe is the remains of one in a cart with most pieces prices as the "bare tool" item number and then a couple of pieces as a lesser kit price but none were really discounted. The cart literally had everything the 8 piece kit would have including the one larger 4ah battery.

I asked about the display Jawhorse and they offered 10% off of the $149 tag on it... no thanks.

I did spot this tag as well - but there were none on the shelf. Its a Kobalt 12V 3pc kit so some one might get lucky at their store and find one. Not particularly high end but for twenty bucks it sure aint bad.

Item #233384 Kit model #CKT312K

423981 Senco roofing nailer is getting closed out everywhere, at least from what I've seen in New England. Cheapest I have seen is $160, 30% off. My store only has a display model left that I'm tempted to put an offer on.

I noticed they took they Lowes coupon template numbers off of slickdeals for the discounts. Anyone know why?

I think Lowes must have sent a cease an desist to them. It's not to some generic codes that are useless 3/4 of the time. I wanted to order some drip irrigation stuff for my garden and wanted to use the codes but couldn't find them either.

Found these clamp lights on clearance today for $14.99. A $50 regular price seems STUPID excessive, but nonetheless...

The single large one was there too for $9.99 down from $16.

I passed.

Grabbed the last one at my store this morning; it wasn't on the endcap in Tool World where the lubricants are, but rather in the garage door aisle.

I also picked up 17 Project Source 10-compartment organizer bins (item #295165) for $0.80 each. Regular price was $2.98 and they are made in the US. They're perfect for small screws, electrical connectors, and bits. The site shows that Hinesville has 11 left but no other Savannah area store has them in stock.

I bought the big one a while back. It's a decent light but I think it's one of those "clearance but regular price things". Clamp light is good to have for electronics duty on my end, good for emergency underhood on the road if you don't have something better.

Dorcy stuff typically lasts me a long time so...I don't have any issue with it but compared to modern led lights less bright but not cheaper.

I called the main number and checked on that tool kit and according to the computers and my inventory checker there weren't anymore in the country. I did however find 2 of those pliers from a few pages back at a store in GA for $7 a pair.

Anyone happen to have any valid coupon codes for Lowes at the moment? The $100 gift cards for $85 deal expired and I'm hoping to find a discount I can apply to an order I'd like to place for some online only items.

TIA!

Did you try the dealsplus link from post #893?
I was hoping to get a % off coupon since what I'm ordering is nearly $300. But now that I think about it I wonder if the $15 off could be better. I'm ordering four chairs which are each about $70, so could I just make 4 separate purchases and use a $15 off coupon for each one?

EDIT: I tried placing 4 separate orders and I was able to apply a $15 off coupon to each order. Not sure if it matters but I did check out as a guest and did not create an account with Lowes.

Yes, you can make 4 separate purchases. Just make sure you call them and let them know it's a real order and not a case of hitting "submit" too many times.

Is it 15% off one item or total amount? Wouldn't the 15% off be the same if you did 4 separate orders or one order with 4 items?

Let us know how it goes. Over on slickdeals some are reporting of canceled orders after using the $15 off $50 code.

Chris.

I just picked up my order from a few hours ago and used the $15 off $50.

I've never had a problem with the code, but I guess it's YMMV. I read the SD thread you're referring to, and while there are a few that have had their orders cancelled, the majority go through with no issues.

How were you not charged for shipping? Did you pay online for the pliers and then call the store to ask them to be shipped?
